RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS POSITION:
0 V9 Y4 A2 p4 q8 F7 X6 {• Provide tier 2-3 support for network issues for technologies such as but not limited to:
. j/ q" S$ L5 E$ D& g7 |   o Microsoft Windows NT 4.0, 2000, XP, 2003
   o Microsoft Exchange 5.5, 2000, 2003
8 P/ k9 G- L  Q. M! [   o Microsoft SQL Server 7, 2000
   o Microsoft SMS 2, 2003
7 Y7 d1 Q% F; `9 B& ?   o Microsoft Operations Manager
   o VMWare Virtual Server solutions
( j8 `9 ^! `" c0 V! v) j   o Linux based operating systems
* _2 F! C" t+ v4 J) G   o Sun Solaris operating systems
   o Advanced level and hands-on knowledge of Cisco IOS, VoIP, and security knowledge and configuration experience
• Provide network solutions and recommendations to customer inquires regarding Anti-Virus, Email & Collaboration, Network Security, Migration Strategy, Disaster Recovery…etc.

• Administration, architecting, and technical support experience on the Microsoft Windows

9 |! n0 @) P- C% \SMS platform, Microsoft IIS platform, Microsoft DNS and Microsoft Active Directory…etc.
• Advanced Cisco routing and switching and/or firewall configurations

( o4 e5 W# c/ I* {$ H  V/ qSKILL REQUIREMENTS FOR THIS POSITION:
6 r8 M7 G# H+ T4 y1 U2 m  m• 5 – 8 years hands-on IT experience
• Excellent written and verbal skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
• Excellent organization skills with detail AND accuracy
• Excellent documentation skills with detail AND accuracy
! P; `! ]- h$ h& l; n• Certification should include some or all of the following:
   o Cisco Certified Design Professional (CCDP)
   o Cisco Certified Network Professional (CCNP)
' ^# ]  o. C* o   o Cisco Certified Internetworking Professional (CCIP)
; W) q8 |8 F1 k+ G& |   o Cisco Certified Security Professional (CCSP)
   o Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer (Windows 2000 or Windows 2003)
7 Q7 ~+ r! N4 o$ V0 c   o Citrix Certified Enterprise Administrator (CCEA)
   o Any other professional certification designations are a bonus
2 V( ^; I% ], G• Ability to multi-task and manage multiple medium sized projects
5 h+ p1 q# _0 z" h) f; B• Ability to understand and deliver high quality customer service
2 `0 }) V8 p5 u& l# s; e  Z• Advanced TCP/IP and internetworking protocol knowledge
• Experience in IT operations and an actively contributing team member in project based work
& H8 ?' w3 ^, I5 Q9 d• Advanced technical and hands-on expertise in Microsoft Windows-based migration projects in 800-1500 seat size of multiple domain, sites, and active directory.
5 [4 |, q2 E0 c$ D( F* w# w+ z. i• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Group Policy, DFS, Windows Security, Virtual Server, SharePoint Server, Exchange Server 5.5, 2000, and 2005

• Have led medium to large sized projects
7 u  _: p' w5 y/ X• A valid Alberta driver’s license is mandatory
