“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."( K" x! R) I8 f# L4 J
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.0 j" _- X- B) W/ v' g- S
This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.# g3 ?& }0 n8 R9 V3 N( t3 C
Key Responsibilities:. _: m! w( |5 v8 f& ]) X& [
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children" h# |/ v2 N. R# ~& {6 A* X6 r* }
