/ p9 V$ {* w6 _+ zVolunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop                                                                                   
Description:
7 j; s" p) l7 k! Q' {  r' t“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
* X3 b. U0 v* k5 }# h2 ?* w- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children

Training:
