“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."" N/ B9 |8 a( h. P
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
) q; I9 h6 _) U' x: \This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.# L: L# Y& c" x
Key Responsibilities:
3 q2 E) v: Q- v. @; Y- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children, q0 l+ `" \, ]1 }+ F4 H3 {" X
