“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."' u E4 G* V$ E
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
# H* W! M, K( t2 @8 L8 sThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
0 f- t W. d; H0 l/ x, MKey Responsibilities:
/ G* e+ l, i3 o* {' a- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children: R8 H) o3 d5 [0 _5 C7 n8 R
