Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

7 t/ r  E% k! l' x  g8 U) b6 i“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
( {) `$ G( i0 a$ ]$ l; tAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
% V6 {8 i) M4 M$ T& h6 h' S5 oThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
8 X) e3 }0 U, d6 }; P& P5 XKey Responsibilities:
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children
