# l6 b2 |( Z3 L: h# T' c. Z% ]& ^“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
1 G' w$ r2 U7 x/ ^5 N8 u" LAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
/ \9 x3 J$ y+ u+ a  p6 QThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
+ E  P+ a- Z- B; ^" t% q, PKey Responsibilities:
- S- O9 O0 q4 i! S! y- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

2 v  Q+ N- a1 O" ^7 W, R- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
- Are outgoing and love to work with children

Training:

- 1 hour in-person training
