“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."/ e% s, M7 S" Q
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.- ` ~# s, T( t: u" i9 m% u9 l2 B
This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.( x, a; Y+ J* v4 e
Key Responsibilities:# ~" A! x- k0 H( V9 I
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children$ I; B- ~' ?/ q/ V/ O
