“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."1 m$ j8 J; u2 `) W( c
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.8 Y& A* q. a8 n' ?" i* }
This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.* B: \0 X. ?7 R4 }
Key Responsibilities:( H. l6 Q! p/ r
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children* Q' m' c$ o8 q2 y! g: V
