Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
& g, S( I) x1 S9 ~7 n2 iAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
* o3 u' \. Y& S  HThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
! h4 v/ e+ V  rKey Responsibilities:
9 g! e5 N  s% h$ P4 k- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children
/ [. s( d& O: j8 NBenefits:

Qualifications:

4 a( S. P# n" t6 X. j& R$ j+ W- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community

- Are outgoing and love to work with children

Training:
