“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."0 K/ v' X' n# u4 F) B. K
As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.. Z( |* B5 h9 Z' m, I( \; B
This September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop. `( E- _: ~- Y2 B' L1 L+ r4 n
Key Responsibilities:! _; g" k; O/ p' f( x+ ?1 t F6 _
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children5 k. ~% D! p9 M
