“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
6 g! G% }! a9 d. LAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
( g: }4 e3 P1 Y3 S" m5 MThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.1 H" O; N9 {$ T \3 ^- k$ T; N
Key Responsibilities:
+ @7 \9 Q( z1 v) a$ f- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children6 t& y4 _6 }+ T; c4 f! O
