Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

& K+ K- E& X8 W6 v* u5 p“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
7 ~) F' i$ [1 M; D" A3 q. w- zAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
5 W; g' ^. w2 r* a4 TThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
# w. i2 U4 M8 pKey Responsibilities:: f9 y* K( q" O
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children
