Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

8 Z* f- y6 Y7 e1 _0 C“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
6 T8 P5 Q$ S3 V. }& k' GAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
/ L' i8 i0 h: g; W- ^" w0 E* a/ KThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
- F; F7 {# O6 K1 R$ p9 dKey Responsibilities:
' I1 L) A+ s; \) a/ `- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children
