Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop                                                                                   
Description:
/ X/ y& O2 H, ^6 q. N+ z  Y“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
. S# P1 d) E  ~. l+ j: iAs part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
3 i+ O- Y, f6 s6 O% s# \: QThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
Key Responsibilities:
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
