Volunteer Mentors: Celebrate Science Literacy Week with Children Coding Workshop

“Science Literacy Week highlights Canada’s outstanding scientists and science communicators from coast-to-coast. The goals are to showcase the excellence and diversity of Canadian science and to show how exciting science is."
* C- a8 B0 Q4 ]As part of Science Literacy Week, Kids Code Jeunesse will be running free workshops for kids across Canada from Sept 18th – Sept 24th in Libraries and community centres to introduce children to science and code.
1 o# ~! k, u, @) I% i, V3 zThis September, Kids Code Jeunesse will be in the Edmonton area and we need your help! We're looking for volunteer mentors for Coding workshop.
( R. C5 v* \1 v/ M+ y2 Q& j  gKey Responsibilities:
- mentoring learners and providing support to our lead instructors to help create a warm, friendly and inclusive learning environment for children

Qualifications:

& S# R- A$ F  |! ?0 }- Enjoy the world of education and are looking for ways to give back to the community
- Have a passion for technology and want to learn more skills
