Essential Responsibilities:9 B5 r5 A7 T0 f; }2 i/ A3 R6 a
" Y" ]) e( x1 }9 E1 GPLC, HMI and SCADA programming of control systems in a variety of platforms for water and wastewater treatment systems.
0 P+ F; ^6 T3 X" _Configuration and testing of PLC data and IO networks.
! O: [5 J% j8 k/ J% p# v- NRead and process engineering documents, including P&IDs, process design guidelines, Electrical Schematics, Communications Network Architecture and engineering best practices guides.
- G: g2 |" u2 |, ]1 E" ACollaborate in cross-functional project team discussions and meetings, and proactively seek relevant details for programming deliverables.
6 U: M- K% k, kInterpret and follow contract and customer specifications0 D# W: v* Y, S7 o; q+ Q5 x _
Contribute to the design of process controls strategies and documentation with operator and equipment safety in mind.
7 a9 L' K+ r/ F& RManage budget, scope and schedule and report risks and opportunities to project managers in timely manner.
8 @9 c3 g- F# t9 d: V3 yLead/coordinate/guide other automation programming resources for projects as needed
& o1 s5 q- P1 ~2 x+ H' w1 A2 tCommunicate in a formal, professional, and technical manner to various audiences
. o$ B% M& k9 ]' hProvide timely support for field service teams during commissioning, trouble-shooting, and issue resolution$ ~$ v9 m" A* `
Work with 3rd-party system integrators to coordinate plant design and operation as needed; S* l* g- k1 U9 K+ q3 U5 [
Establish, maintain, implement and follow standard practices for programming.& `. L2 w8 o8 y$ t
Execute projects for a wide variety of Water Treatment Technologies (including Ion Exchange, Immersed and Pressurized Ultra Filtration, Membrane Bioreactors, Reverse Osmosis, Electro Deionization, Electrodialysis Reversal, Thermal, Conventional)
9 ~! ^. ^* J f1 O, P/ e! y! t; y2 UParticipate in customer witnessed FAT, SAT and other related Control System checkouts as needed
* v6 v: o: Q' {+ C+ Q+ s: f BWork with internal stakeholders to provide input up front in the project cycle including bids, design reviews and factory testing$ I8 A! E, _6 r7 Z: }
Lead internal initiatives aimed at improving the automation team and greater business and independently drive to closure

Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Equivalent from an accredited University or College* J0 W1 M' S9 k; ?7 v2 M* h6 W
Two to five years' experience developing Rockwell based PLC, HMI and SCADA programs for process control applications.
3 `7 b" m d6 gAutomation testing experience (simulation and/or field environment)' q/ a1 l, Z' L7 f# S' C3 O
Experience interpreting process control documents., F2 b; O8 Y$ A; o+ B0 \4 u& M
Excellent written/verbal communication skills and problem-solving abilities, y% z/ H2 V4 Q" D Y
Proven ability to follow set of procedures and standards, and extrapolate new concepts from established standards
3 Q0 C0 `5 f4 ?Knowledge of and/or demonstrated ability to learn equipment and processes related to SUEZ WTS products and systems including but not limited to RO/ED, UF/MBR, Ion Exchange, Thermal and Conventional technologies

Strong knowledge of water/wastewater process: Understand biological processes, disinfection, BOD, coagulation, etc.
" j" @9 _4 ?& V1 x" OMechanical experience particularly with water treatment equipment (pumps, valves, instrumentation, relief valves, regulators, pneumatic systems, etc.)

Ability to operate under pressure on tight timelines while producing detailed and accurate documents/ q0 Z3 N) q- [2 X: m; ]
