Knowledge & Experience / Qualifications:
-Completion of a post-secondary education
-Completion of the Canadian Securities Course (CSC) and Conduct and Practices Handbook Examination (CPH) or registered with the IIROC
-Completion of/in the process of completing the Derivatives Fundamentals and Options Licensing Course (DFOL)
-Working knowledge of the fundamentals/techniques of equity, fixed income, option, and mutual fund trading, and the applicable rules & regulations sufficient to trade securities for the public
-Working knowledge of the marketplace, including current conditions & trends in the Canadian & US stock and bond markets
/ w! o. ]& }$ k4 R& V7 t2 e' Z! h-Well-developed organization and prioritization skills, with proven ability to juggle multiple tasks within a dynamic, deadline-driven environment.
-Demonstrated tact and diplomacy
- d% ~' Y; n! I2 a, T2 r4 S-Demonstrated high-level customer service-oriented approach.
) g* R* J/ _$ B8 ~5 g+ Z-Willingness to work flexible, extended hours and weekends as required
! U- A  L4 Q: k7 V; _" ]- O0 X1 y-Previous experience working directly in a highly client-driven environment, typically acquired with at least 6-12 months experience in a call center environment
9 f4 E( `0 {; {5 t4 A# M-Sales Experience is an asset
-Fluent in English and Cantonese
' A7 r1 q( P- ^1 d+ P0 g- F" _1 i-Second business language skills in French, and/or Mandarin are an asset
