7 k$ {% t# M' [8 U8 V/ X1 ]This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

5 M' I7 b! `/ `2 @* ?6 s5 W* OThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
7 L) u5 d: @6 o& V2 x) s; b-        Building and managing supplier relationships
5 b$ B( v1 o/ [; t, Z-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

* L% `# X6 i" ~2 ^Requirements:
- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
4 c# W2 A8 y- N2 V) u8 [+ T: F- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
, H' j9 r, k# h  x% X7 H- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
) B; C& {$ @2 [: ]- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
" W7 l9 o; e  d6 s8 }# I- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
