This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

The procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
- K/ A7 G. v" J% d-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
6 {' _$ X# Z$ ?8 @! J+ n) _3 b1 L-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
7 `" D, v1 p- A) B( j-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
: c- a% o7 d$ v& T# q; b. t& d# I- Sound research skills
* f4 u+ a# q4 U  Y( X- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
* f/ v) Q* I* @( K; Q4 g- Strong organization and time management skills
9 x5 U  x- D9 f. \& P8 P& i- Friendly and outgoing personality
- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
6 b2 R; C  Q' n- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
7 y2 v: r1 |# d- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
