This position is an important role in the company where the successful candidate will lead the strategic sourcing of all required products and services.

* `0 t4 T% F$ Q/ GThe procurement officer is responsible for:
-        Identifying and serving the needs of each business department
& f" Z8 G3 Z4 K4 u* E; J: b-        Sourcing and evaluating local, national or international suppliers
5 R6 U) S+ T: P6 y-        Negotiating terms, conditions and contracts
-        Building and managing supplier relationships
/ [! i: C9 B' z( z-        Performing cost savings and profit margin analyses

Requirements:
5 W: y: S  w& d2 @+ y3 V4 b9 t- Sound research skills
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organization and time management skills
- Friendly and outgoing personality
4 I6 S  q2 j) ]1 M1 u: ?- Proficient use of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
- Cycle counting and adjusting experience preferred  
- Experience with mechanical parts, welding materials, PPE and consumables for the construction industry is an asset
- Experience with Inventory control is an asset
