CAC recycling is a metal recycling facility that provides on and off site processing to oil field and local businesses. We are currently seeking a self-motivated individual to fill our open  Accountant within our growing team.

  v& }$ E% L& S3 T6 E: fResponsibilities:
+ v8 g1 o' C: S$ y8 F( @•        Manage all accounting transactions
1 o. }+ K! r3 T3 [2 u# M, g9 ^9 r4 L•        Publish financial statements in time
+ Y/ p6 @# C* [. k) v) K# ]3 D•        Handle monthly, quarterly and annual closings
# o( f  b% H: M  O6 y•        Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
, |. O$ Z4 H5 T* Z4 v% J+ G•        Ensure timely bank payments
•        Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
" V9 G# @' V5 v•        Maintain accounting system, documents, and records of the organization.
: }% G  d1 L0 C•        Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
•        Comply with financial policies and regulations
: B! P$ |, v# R. s9 i8 Q•       Other ad hoc duties as assigned

  n. L6 ^% X1 v7 b: q$ Z" O1 X  r, S
! Y" ?2 I: M+ O3 p3 n/ r5 Z* X4 O•        bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field (Essential).
•        Minimum 5 years of Accounting work experience (Essential)
) S# W6 b2 L. V9 c3 ]5 l•        2 years of Cost Accounting work experience. (Asset)
$ Y3 O8 L. \8 X6 ~0 {; ^6 E•        Analytical thinker with strong conceptual and problem-solving skills.
( l+ D! B% R, ~4 s  u•        Meticulous attention to detail with superb organizational skills.
•        Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
! p, l2 D5 H( X  c' o) ~' E3 s0 \•        Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
•        Excellent report-writing, communication, and IT skills as an Asset.

Salary: 50K--60k dependent on experience.
