MadeFresh Foods Inc. is a fresh food manufacturer providing high-quality ready-to-eat food to your local grocery store.   MadeFresh Foods Inc. is seeking a Quality Assurance Technician for a part time position in Edmonton, AB.
Brief Job Description:  Reporting to QA Manager, the main duty for the QA technician is to ensure all products conform to regulatory and food safety standards.  
& S' i3 e9 M' g8 D$ lDuties and Responsibilities:
% s4 {% H6 o8 D" m: Z2 i9 e. s: V2 ^1. Shelf-life testing/environmental Swabbing
* `1 F# s3 D* n! D$ w" k2. Maintain and verify QA and production records
3. Monitoring and Verification of all CCPs
: k$ [, Z( Y9 z, y4. Calibration of Equipment
! l0 V, }; h- J5. GMP and other Food Safety trainings
8 b& I! Q9 l; \: f( @$ p- p- G6. Monitor production process and employees’ GMP practices
7. Other duties as assigned
$ ?6 r9 U8 N. [Skills and specifications:
" d/ N3 q3 {1 H- J, P! e# {' @) e1. University or Diploma in Food Technology/Food Science
2. Knowledge in Food Safety and Quality Program (HACCP, Prerequisite Program and GMP)
* }. ^  m! ]) O5 P8 f3. Bilingual (Cantonese and English) is an asset
- h7 v8 o1 b. U8 Z8 r3 N; X7 @6 \4. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment but also be able to work in a team environment
