CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties
9 i8 O  H, F& d+ ?+ t& `
· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

# J2 E( H' H. i; @· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
- `) Y' c/ i" s9 W) Y4 G- \4 p
· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

0 y8 X- f% u2 s& X: ^· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

+ ^- Z4 C# j- z' k· Secure loads safely

. p' m& }! m, U# p· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
  y  y2 E% I7 ]# E, ~9 ZQualifications and Training Requirements
) k0 h# r0 _7 t* Z' y6 C
8 f  [) J- p& y0 s  @, x· Minimum 3 years experience

; T- V' ?6 r* I) u0 g/ W· Valid Class 1 license

. J* o5 I) \) Z) x' T· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

4 p) j9 E  b5 K· Load securement certification

( ^& K5 h2 n* ~/ W# U" J3 S* O+ V7 z6 X· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

& n9 a/ y' C( ?· Excellent organizational and time management skills

& N3 Z& o  S( V- o9 u; S! _· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

/ e# i* H- K2 V· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
