CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

$ g4 x; m5 e. }% f: |0 W· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

! V1 S3 Z$ E. p1 W; Q* M1 Q· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

' h7 b: U# R' }  {· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections

( _  g9 w' }7 Q8 g9 u/ f3 `3 {9 M· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

+ _2 B# P6 r& Z7 B1 wQualifications and Training Requirements

· Minimum 3 years experience
& U) _" l7 p* g. A3 G
; G( S7 z+ A( S# O' V* A3 p: v· Valid Class 1 license
& D/ q7 H2 R( H, z- a
· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

· Load securement certification
6 ?* ^- D6 m7 `! d
- l9 G: R& O! e; K· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

% F) K% O& W" q" y% q' _" h; ?· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Ability to make runs to town or day runs to Fort Mac
