CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers
# Q/ P! l( X# W
+ l! a: Z% u# e" L% z· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
) q  b% p3 i- R" [* m% I
· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order
8 R6 Z2 h' s- j& y' Q
· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

; G1 {. r& j. o! ~6 t  i· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
/ l* F, I/ r' n4 }Qualifications and Training Requirements

' x, O& F4 [7 ?4 e5 I· Minimum 3 years experience

% S2 X" ?. l3 f# X) x· Valid Class 1 license

/ @! V9 ]( \: X· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

/ m9 u1 D/ d0 E* L1 b" ^· Load securement certification
1 a) a  W5 T% n( S! g* b* [
" a: f2 A+ Q& j9 {- b· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

· Excellent organizational and time management skills

· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

( g: {7 @7 H, S· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Working in this industry requires patience and respect; sometimes the job takes longer than we would like but always being tolerant is paramount.

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
