Class 1 Driver Needed

CAC Enterprises Group Inc. is a scrap metal recycling facility that is currently seeking an experienced Class 1 Driver. We have work that takes us to many destinations within the city of Edmonton, (occasionally the province of Alberta) and need a conscientious and safety focused driver to join our team.

Key Job Duties

· Perform pre-trip, post-trip inspections and preventative maintenance checks and paperwork

· Connecting and disconnecting trailers

# X% _* s$ V2 H. e& e1 n: t# |· Record keeping of travel details, repairs and inspections
$ r) h9 M7 l. a( c' T0 b
3 O0 B( `, |+ d0 S1 q· Keep equipment tidy, clean and in good working order

6 i, m0 L% T3 W6 x/ ^8 `· Running flat decks, step decks, containers and super b’s

: P" T1 I/ P5 X9 q8 j· Operate manual and automatic shifts

· Secure loads safely

7 o' w, y5 o# b! }( B# p- R: i+ g· Pick up and deliver containers in an efficient manner
Qualifications and Training Requirements

* L) i+ p2 L2 N. `) l0 g· Minimum 3 years experience

· Valid Class 1 license

· 5 years clean driving record and abstract

' N1 \8 n6 ]2 {) U' K$ {· Load securement certification
  Y7 A* c! Y- ?' I
· Familiarity with industry safety rules and regulations

) g, r' @% C6 W6 K- m· Excellent organizational and time management skills

$ y  `* m, V/ z- g! V5 R· Good communication skills and understanding of English (written and verbal)

8 w5 y  @* I3 a- G4 P" x  G: b· Knowledge of large vehicle maintenance, traffic regulations and a good sense of orientation

· Oversized loads experience is considered an asset
