1 b! `$ d% Z! p! _5 t/ hThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.. Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials1 ^9 }4 j( ^1 i& [: E5 Y
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials$ B' T/ Q; Y) S& R5 y" o' |# r
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material) u. {. j9 }4 Y5 a" c" E
Must be able to work safely at all times2 {6 k1 ^8 k' R- x* P- t2 @
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently+ \. k: V. q2 q7 \- _
Performs routine housekeeping.5 A v+ l& T: D0 w
Observes and reports any safety issues9 g& {- z( T T/ R! V0 y

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

* B4 F4 q0 f% h/ [Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting* f' Q8 F7 J; l5 S0 w
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
/ M: f& h' W# _0 x& i1 THigh school diploma (Or GED)8 c$ [& f+ e/ O. g
Well-articulated and assertive9 M* r- Y& S* |9 K1 I+ V$ q
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization& m2 f; u4 `- F. h7 t
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
