Job Summary:
" ]/ w" K% \- X2 YThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

5 g O9 Z- l, Y( S9 x$ wMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
# E2 W! k& h. |8 O$ kInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
1 }' Z% w- w: Y; A2 O1 ELoads and unloads non-ferrous material k' h0 H& X/ g# z: S" L
Must be able to work safely at all times
7 a# N4 d% t B0 \Be able to effectively perform tasks independently, i f- m0 P: P* I2 G- X
Performs routine housekeeping.- a& y1 T6 q9 f2 }+ V
Observes and reports any safety issues

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
