Non-ferrous Laborer

Job Summary:0 b8 Y+ `& K1 o, W
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:2 Z0 `' [. S H0 Q
1 Q* W' E* y0 m! R+ lMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials8 m% |9 a9 `# t% z0 N& O8 ^
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
9 _- F* T0 D% \+ \Loads and unloads non-ferrous material R, _) |5 i% B6 s
Must be able to work safely at all times
4 n/ I5 U$ f: I6 a) [" P2 @Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
, d! l4 E. D( o7 `7 F4 oPerforms routine housekeeping.

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting* ~- T: J) c$ G j3 z0 g
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
" j+ H1 Z1 ~: P3 E( d$ j8 WHigh school diploma (Or GED)
+ t" ^+ H9 H: q2 Q# z) JWell-articulated and assertive
- g* A$ y2 F7 P3 S0 PAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
