Job Summary:
" ^" ^. {. q7 E! O# MThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.( C P9 E; M, k1 X$ h

Job Responsibilities:

( v C$ {" Y& H4 m: \$ ]% @Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
; S# }1 _1 }3 [0 T& fInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
) ]1 j! p! r: l: \* {Loads and unloads non-ferrous material2 c5 t) c5 v* { O2 A5 {
Must be able to work safely at all times

Performs routine housekeeping.

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting

High school diploma (Or GED). c: U; C# l3 ?7 z$ W& `9 Z C
Well-articulated and assertive
/ t1 K3 b3 c5 g# r, hAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization2 y- y5 C7 G1 h# ? y( j! d" W
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
