The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.1 s2 N$ s: c! x4 n; { }! l- ]0 _

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:

& x, j8 c- j m8 {4 T7 n+ a dMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials z/ P! d; _) K9 L0 w* L
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials, ~; e" |: _' u! \6 [" Z. C: {
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
W+ C# }# i6 i4 j& I6 {0 bMust be able to work safely at all times9 d" _- Y8 S# r6 t
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently9 @$ p( d& ^1 I7 B
Performs routine housekeeping.9 i& C6 c# K0 J" d2 R5 ]
Observes and reports any safety issues

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
7 X( j2 v7 {) l+ z0 I! SHigh school diploma (Or GED)
4 g: t) t1 j3 _4 S, GWell-articulated and assertive1 b, G* Y- `( o3 S
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
