The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials* `9 w+ `; n5 F$ j
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials# @1 A$ _6 ~4 L

Must be able to work safely at all times* s9 o) f) { X7 f
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently4 i* Z3 G* m! G' |8 u/ D- X
Performs routine housekeeping.

Job Qualifications:

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization @. ]7 F3 k2 Q3 s
