) J' T7 Q( M, E) kThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. - G9 X9 m( n7 [+ R" X8 [0 C& ^Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials* ^5 O% B7 l6 \* \* B
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
9 i/ p! s7 G; N3 J# v3 E; f, bLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
7 x1 q$ K7 a( {Must be able to work safely at all times: Y) i* O! @4 v& Y9 E
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Job Qualifications:

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting/ f% M6 ~6 }0 r
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
a& \. n2 G+ zHigh school diploma (Or GED)& a/ {: ?1 E3 H9 P5 Z
Well-articulated and assertive0 ?& o y6 F: P& P# J; r! j
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization

Ability to write simple correspondence
