Job Summary:" Z$ F& S' l2 b6 |5 ^! t* h1 v: W
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
) ?" ?: n* G7 wInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
1 e& g, n* {+ K) Z1 N& rLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
_& D3 y% y' w" s/ V5 m; ]Must be able to work safely at all times
" z. c$ i- W. ]5 J) mBe able to effectively perform tasks independently- O$ I8 h2 _' Z# l
Performs routine housekeeping.6 R* N2 r) q4 }5 f$ Y
Observes and reports any safety issues

High school diploma (Or GED)

! P/ g- v9 G3 @; C: X' Q' t9 m8 I0 aAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization8 H; v; c' B) ^6 c' m
