The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

7 R' h5 ]+ s) ^6 JMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials0 f4 S" s, V! N9 T# J4 U+ W
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
V# c6 d3 b. Z; E3 C, O4 l/ M( `Loads and unloads non-ferrous material' w; G% f! Y! t1 M
Must be able to work safely at all times
]% j3 ^" O2 c! n `1 j2 v. KBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
) r R" q, w( s, m8 a! G) f( n6 \Performs routine housekeeping.

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

High school diploma (Or GED)- C/ J; A# I) x R- `2 I
Well-articulated and assertive
' p( ]9 N9 @- nAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization u# H0 R m1 J- g: m
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
