Non-ferrous Laborer

The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:

7 y5 T" w6 r( ^2 z: t( [3 t$ zMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
- m# H! `+ b k6 b' ?" |9 vInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials! s# F) ^; e) W$ Y7 {" d3 f4 k# h3 d
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material$ `- L0 }% Q' C1 r2 D6 Z
Must be able to work safely at all times. l# r- g* `# P3 m
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
! w- F4 f1 f0 r9 ` d. i6 k* GPerforms routine housekeeping.) `. w3 m; {# s) Y9 h C m( e% e
Observes and reports any safety issues: L' H2 G2 o# y, g' c! g5 F
Other duties may be assigned

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing0 ?( T& P; k/ Q" b( ]
High school diploma (Or GED)
