The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting., ^# k) G- M: P, r" @- j3 C w

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Job Responsibilities:$ a0 n3 A' {( t6 h' V( x
" ]3 s- e5 i) A6 `1 [- v* |' SMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials9 x% B5 Z/ N0 h9 i
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
6 k! J, z* y; t: B1 PLoads and unloads non-ferrous material( y* g. z+ h) {
Must be able to work safely at all times
% f/ d3 R$ y, V" A5 C% RBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
& i1 b" ], c7 S; H3 APerforms routine housekeeping.
# ]& Y: R/ o2 H' {4 H# B+ ]. LObserves and reports any safety issues
/ [8 Z- F: Y" i+ IOther duties may be assigned

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly$ s6 t7 c3 w4 s# L" i5 s9 y
Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

8 ?! q! K* T4 o, k8 K; @+ Y: ]Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
% r% C+ \# j6 A `% I* `) N! DHigh school diploma (Or GED)
% t6 E7 C9 Q7 z# }: nWell-articulated and assertive
* ~. S: Y; ^: _- ]; C4 K ?* N- MAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
