The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.$ a# w; b/ K1 J" C

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
, p+ u ~5 t& e, j* @6 f/ IInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
6 l) F @& X8 `9 w, fLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
. m; }* U3 S0 C/ W: }$ {Must be able to work safely at all times
1 Y( t* \7 n# Q/ ~( P0 U8 SBe able to effectively perform tasks independently6 P: R. U' U/ r! q2 U# q

Well-articulated and assertive
9 M3 [$ W) d; T" x8 kAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization8 Q; l) W6 C' c- h) j4 t
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
