Job Summary:
! O8 l' K# ?+ s8 u5 T% TThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting. Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials; X2 C1 ~- P, h, w) F
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
+ E# X; s2 d& Z. T+ Z% HLoads and unloads non-ferrous material
+ f5 o! ]* @0 h; s0 yMust be able to work safely at all times
! i" \- t" m! O2 ?! u& @& M; WBe able to effectively perform tasks independently) y$ H7 v' j+ P, y
Performs routine housekeeping.7 l- N; H! y: N! `9 c4 N
Observes and reports any safety issues! e4 U6 T; i4 J, H/ F/ @

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing. X( f+ m# g K, S4 f
High school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
