Job Summary:( s9 _* F3 q& K3 G3 g: h+ V% S
The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

8 S& o- t2 s: V; |' P) r$ DMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
/ o |; R# B4 [1 hInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
8 Q) B5 a9 G- a$ z; R7 b) qLoads and unloads non-ferrous material; }8 s! H. Z0 k; K; n
Must be able to work safely at all times
* k9 [! ]3 [9 G1 q7 t4 C2 ZBe able to effectively perform tasks independently3 ]7 L C9 A% S1 h: H& n
Performs routine housekeeping.- ~1 V. z8 q# `
Observes and reports any safety issues

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

1 O, U; @: @8 x+ J# RHigh school diploma (Or GED)
T) n- u8 N" y% v) i2 PWell-articulated and assertive

Mechanically inclined an asset
