Job Summary:
1 Z$ X" h7 o4 y0 oThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.8 M% u: ^( o% n

Job Responsibilities:

- ]5 r; z9 w+ c4 bMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials. ^8 n, w+ c. M0 f$ a2 L8 ~
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
0 I# ]) f9 ^- ]/ z8 b# |# D+ GLoads and unloads non-ferrous material. M. }' s3 O% g: T5 D5 c
Must be able to work safely at all times; \, x! i( |! Y+ W3 _
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Observes and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting- _% j" x2 X5 F; D- ]
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing1 E M% A1 F- ]$ l6 Z; J- S
High school diploma (Or GED)9 N, |9 V+ W( z& ~5 ~% k, j
Well-articulated and assertive
