Job Summary:
- R3 L2 u \: t5 O) P% e2 N+ v5 NThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
5 q" }2 h& g+ W$ s' fInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials4 G4 \0 P+ S3 i" r0 f
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material. [- S8 t2 h* _! i t8 E
Must be able to work safely at all times
$ c" E. B! d" T; l0 `$ ~8 kBe able to effectively perform tasks independently& _" v, o/ W% q
Performs routine housekeeping.$ V) k2 r( f: f: W8 d" L8 m
Observes and reports any safety issues

Understand and be able to grade all non-ferrous material properly

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting" V1 }$ \- Z2 a3 k" [. V7 p2 x
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing, G+ I0 b1 `: o) T7 E3 c) S) E
High school diploma (Or GED)
' J X- o% V( V4 ~0 bWell-articulated and assertive" V8 l, t- ]7 e; K/ g/ T! w& \6 }
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
