The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials$ }2 G$ N" F# M
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
$ E+ T; c# o% \1 \; w4 `+ gMust be able to work safely at all times
) J G0 w& y; ]Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
! p+ T( t6 ?3 ~; WPerforms routine housekeeping./ Z' c% m1 M% x7 ]1 k! L) B
Observes and reports any safety issues

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
2 T7 S" J0 L; Y zHigh school diploma (Or GED)
4 F5 l9 c) Q5 J6 f6 ` b! S$ H$ j' PWell-articulated and assertive
% y7 c. Y+ P( h( _1 l5 s; a ~Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
