Job Summary:
' y. ?' C+ b- t) c- W5 BThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

9 b+ P& V, ]5 B3 [' S2 c$ g* n$ eMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
, G7 m3 o# @) A0 y4 sInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
1 W7 S) J: I; cLoads and unloads non-ferrous material5 S5 e: q9 G6 p, j1 @) N, o
Must be able to work safely at all times# s$ m6 t! j# Y: K+ L
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently4 Y1 w0 E Q# \% J3 p* L& Z% L
Performs routine housekeeping.; u8 O- H# J; j q4 r! W& o* L
Observes and reports any safety issues

Job Qualifications:

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting' a4 O4 j/ m. R& W. p1 G
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
( q# U% A# x5 R) IHigh school diploma (Or GED)
/ n& K. C) d9 H4 |! r9 l; `Well-articulated and assertive
% T& z) h5 F& z( }' I# G0 p4 \! nAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization x8 X4 U" W+ L9 n- k0 X
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos8 K0 V$ }" |8 w$ y
