The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:

$ ?+ @( t, c& aMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
2 V& z2 Z( s! h) x2 fInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials- U" |' i- v# v0 m
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
0 O$ @2 w4 E6 ]- r6 MMust be able to work safely at all times- b- [/ J8 _% d% N
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently
3 ]1 E, A1 J; @Performs routine housekeeping.1 u0 R# U( y* n d
Observes and reports any safety issues

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing+ U+ v" V# d0 A6 Y) L# b3 k
High school diploma (Or GED)

. z* Z) j* q& ^1 S+ s; d3 s8 FAbility to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
