Job Summary:
9 Z \ q/ F2 _2 U: c: k& O+ ?The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.0 E% v% R' ~- d, K! \

$ z* y) w6 u) e9 T9 EMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials' S% u. s2 d) U. C' j
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials$ ]* G I# q) m% u% J6 U
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material3 d" Q! F+ \. d7 F
Must be able to work safely at all times4 K0 ^# P Z1 G! ]' L2 s2 ^
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing) A& S; m) v" q/ E% l/ y( ?' G
High school diploma (Or GED)1 z6 K% v. O( K$ P, Q$ b
Well-articulated and assertive4 q! H+ n& V; Z, r( D0 s/ i7 `
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
