The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Job Responsibilities:

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials! x, u8 x5 p4 B/ {6 X
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
7 }. U" F2 r% m9 ^, m! e5 a, g1 G M5 dLoads and unloads non-ferrous material% ]8 @3 j8 v7 b( Z+ W
Must be able to work safely at all times; `1 A, L+ e( s" b$ t
Be able to effectively perform tasks independently0 F) T+ t- u' k
Performs routine housekeeping.1 t+ D! g% [7 k5 C- Z
Observes and reports any safety issues' w0 u3 M1 w* P# u4 d H' N

Metal recycling industry experience is an asset

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
9 X5 K* ]" q0 D0 IHigh school diploma (Or GED)

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization6 r# a' M$ n7 L# ~' H7 s* l6 V5 i
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
