The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.% y4 [8 f9 n1 `1 }/ e% ^9 S

Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials( U9 `- T2 l# @3 B6 D: E" v6 m
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material6 T* x0 O8 z5 t! z* G, X. ^
Must be able to work safely at all times) O1 t6 {; v+ W( P0 o

Observes and reports any safety issues

High school diploma (Or GED): O" F _# c: p9 ^
Well-articulated and assertive! ^% N, h6 \8 y& I4 C
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization: N+ m% N% n, }* m! p! G) s
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
