' C; ~4 T! z- \+ \! N( CSalary to be paid will be $15.00 per hour for a 40 hour week.
/ l. y1 B& D" \7 e4 B  t7 C
Duties include: working closely with graduate students and research
technicians, the candidate will work on the synthesis of intermediates
/ Y+ K! `" s0 w5 X0 jfor use in chemical and biochemical research. Particular duties will
include carrying out chemical and/or enzymatic reactions and purifying
compounds by chromatography.
% r- Z) \4 p+ E: D) `
* C: v; O" Q3 k+ d8 s; q: _Qualifications include successful completion of courses in organic
9 J6 d/ ?" g5 }8 eChemistry (Chemistry 263 or equivalent) and ideally biochemistry and
+ i& r+ Y' n, O9 a. M: Manalytical chemistry; familiarity with basic biology and chromatographic
" c5 e2 i) o0 _* |separations important. Attention to detail and ability to work as part
& f5 h( F! E) G& O  T0 c/ `8 uof a team essential.
This position will provide the candidate with experience in biochemical
and chemical research and would be ideal for students who ultimately
" a9 }6 [0 x5 Ihope to work in these areas.
