Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30: @: n$ ]6 p8 W# ?2 P
- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for* N& t% m5 N+ R' G
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
$ ?* O& n$ M' T* ]- `CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus& L8 P8 P- u! x: }
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
& V8 q D: R4 t) V: tetc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
1 o v* T# J2 m& `. hparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and+ D# g$ B# Z5 p F
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during* I, }. d' a' ~! G; S
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,; Y* q; D- s! I6 b" ]
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
/ R+ e9 ~; E9 X9 ^( [venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city# A& ~0 R( J; o. h6 _8 Q
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
; ^4 x3 f& H) K* Jexcursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
0 w7 g; R k! E4 v$ P6 Rexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or

such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint) S$ | A; s+ \( m9 q
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

' H% U! y5 Q. R K, z! g4 y, SQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
4 f! Q; I% o2 T. L QCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate: X5 L$ F3 |+ ~4 I: {& d! V
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
: Y/ f. i9 u# ^% R) F: Tdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake1 ?! T4 w$ l7 V5 B) F+ U# g
a variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
3 M8 p; z, q6 sof co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management. o8 V U9 \, u) W$ ^/ Z z7 j4 p
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
