& f0 g( c; g4 S) s  ?; qpay, student premium, and second language augmentation)

: |' A6 q+ O9 Q$ c- Y) |Hours per week will be 20 - 30 - 20 during the first few weeks, then 30
4 n1 `2 k% s& ], C- 35 per week during the busy period. There may be an opportunity for
the student to stay on a casual basis (10 - 20 hours per week) once the

# W6 d$ e/ {4 w( {3 YDuties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at
, J" ~4 t! A0 Y0 W: T4 ?/ dCIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
venues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
. J; [% I; ~+ I# _9 retc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
+ P% q- m6 V9 }* A1 R% N- Uparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
assisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
excursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
functions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents
such as schedules, itineraries, notices, correspondence, PowerPoint
presentations, program binders, evaluation forms, etc.

Qualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in
0 @7 K# I) D: |* W0 `. @# X% pCommerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
" t. m5 l, ^+ E! q: L: ?demonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
) I! `: W" s& l; b2 V$ ja variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management
skills; accuracy to detail; working knowledge of MS applications (Word,
Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
& Q  a; R: L( R% W4 s. E$ h+ t/ S6 Zexperience coordinating group activities an asset.
