Duties include: preparing for programs by working with current staff at" o: Z# A1 h4 ?- A6 L
CIBS to secure and schedule various program requirements (off-campus
# A- C/ o. A; g; T2 ?" `: v& Hvenues, tour agents, goods and services, program materials and supplies,
# A, j! \7 T% D& W9 B' ~etc.); reproducing and distributing documents and correspondence for
) l) @; ?! Q' aparticipants, assisting to orient participants to the University and
6 ~1 h$ D3 x5 T/ O! B7 {& ?" `their program on their arrival, and trouble-shooting for them during+ k# Z4 c8 f) O; l, t# Q
their program; booking program venues, setting up for sessions,
+ i6 e5 s3 x2 G) z0 rassisting visiting speakers or invited session presenters, striking) `: ]/ c; n8 g) \1 B4 ?
venue at end of session; traveling as guide with groups on in-city; S! }8 E% l' M" d& h- A
outings or site visits, or, occasionally, on overnight out-of-city9 q2 L* G5 T2 l
excursions (does not involve driving or overnight week night
7 d7 v# l' s* Y5 X4 k# O# S# Dexcursions); interpreting (non-technical exchanges) at meetings or
# { H" t: N( { [ b+ E8 S) qfunctions; translating, revising or drafting program-related documents

: r" w2 D6 Y$ A5 hQualifications include: senior undergrad student; coursework in# x1 r" [, K+ K1 O9 y0 c% X' K
Commerce, Education or Economics preferred, ability to communicate4 D! V0 _% Z f! ~( _& F
fluently (oral and written) in English and Mandarin Chinese,
" }, N1 ~' p# B. Jdemonstrates a high-level of self organization, initiative to undertake
. j6 g! x3 r6 ^& \. b, la variety of tasks; ability to coordinate individual efforts with those3 Q" j. _5 i% P' r; O0 O
of co-workers, excellent interpersonal organization and time-management

Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook); administrative experience an asset,
