JOB SUMMARY: Responsible to and under the general supervision of the

carrying out the procedures necessary to maintain a high standard of

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES;
9 s" J2 X0 v: ^$ m$ ~1) Provides table service by taking and delivering food and beverage : K# v! v, q3 a/ Z( r9 Q/ N; V, H$ p* E
orders.8 X3 @" X" ^1 m/ h2 C4 A3 o4 s3 q ?

2) Responsible for ensuring that customers consistently receive a " f$ v% o! W# U6 i1 w
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude, in
0 ]! d3 a$ H2 \7 ]accordance with Students' Union policies.

3) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold and for the 7 W+ ^# B5 L3 q
total cash-out value of items sold on each shift.! D# ]( g+ K1 C' w1 R

4) Responsible for maintaining table, room and bar area cleanliness,
3 s8 h- P7 Y' ?3 ?! T( p6 T; A# vincluding regular bussing and wiping of tables, full ashtray removal 6 ~* U! n; s; P+ s3 ^
and ensuring floor surface cleanliness.

, Z8 u# g7 b6 `% o5) Monitoring patron levels of intoxication and taking appropriate

intervention procedures and provincial liquor laws.% j% i2 I% m5 J
6) To enforce the AGLC Liquor Control Act, the Capital Health
; x8 q/ p% g( b6 ?: o2 HAuthority Act, U of A and Students´ Union regulations and policies.

; I# W$ j& ~ \/ w6 f1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

6 v1 o" p% k; p5 i M2) Minimum one year serving experience in a high-volume, food-based
# i w7 G) S6 V2 ]! }operation.7 A& y( h- c% r. r( I* z
/ N3 V* H8 _ _4 W3) Personal cleanliness and dress in accordance with Students' Union ! u# \# Z* g* Z8 }

+ r5 D* D, H# l4) Experience operating an Interac terminal and processing charge
