y3 u9 m. m# e0 H' }! q0 y; dOperations Manager, the Bartender is responsible for carrying out the
, x% g' I! s3 J2 eprocedures necessary to maintain a high standard of customer service,

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- T* W' f+ f/ F+ h7 a+ d0 O% q1) Provides service to Servers and customers by dispensing food and
m9 ^% D4 c+ B& d9 r+ g2 M U6 {beverage items.
& @& z" r$ w' `% f4 D
& V+ ~0 ]$ [! }8 |9 I2) Responsible for handling cash for the products sold, and for the & C# ?* Y G# X
bar and debit floats.
( ?& o* p1 P0 b1 D) y- f' Z& _9 j \4 t* i( D) Z4 m( v' X
3) Opens and closes the bar - counts floats and sales at the end of + M$ D+ r4 ]# c- T
each shift, and upon closing.

+ L. n- O% \' ? G3 O) K4) Cleanliness of all areas, supplies and equipment, with particular , Q5 O! T) F* I
attention to areas used by customers including bar counters and 7 X8 A5 U7 M) j9 R' m
seating, tables and chairs and surrounding floor surfaces.

5) Receives orders from suppliers, rotating stock as required in 2 a1 F7 l8 h4 c) d& K
storage areas. Restocks kegs, back-bar beer coolers and all alcohol 9 W& F! M4 S6 e- t" e- ]
products, serving supplies and condiments at the end of each shift.- V/ O7 x7 d$ t$ x3 g4 T3 w9 G- ^

6) Supervision of staff, with particular attention to close
/ {1 W( z$ Z/ N) Ymonitoring of Servers to ensure that customers consistently receive a ( N" I+ j# y$ y3 t) A
high level of customer service offered with a positive attitude in
3 x2 m. [& ?6 P6 b9 U+ L4 F5 X" _accordance with Students' Union policies.

high standard of customer service and effective operation of the room.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

! E$ y9 e% {& i, U, a4 o) u2) Minimum of two years experience bartending in a high-volume

4 O4 s/ J1 f0 P* i7 p3) Excellent work habits, appearance, personal hygiene and dress in ; Q8 ^0 X h0 V6 J" e" f1 O

4) Good physical condition, the ability to handle full beer kegs.

Wage: $7.73/hour (under negotiation) plus 50% discount on food
