The University of Alberta - Department of Chemical and Materials
Engineering - are currently recruiting for the position of Summer
Position Trace Element Emissions Control - Job No. 9411.

Salary to be paid will be $12.50 per hour for 40 hours per week.

Employment will be from May 16 to August 30.

Duties include: integrating with a multifaceted research program geared
0 W; v8 \1 {& T' ~) nat mercury and trace elements emissions control; maintaining a
laboratory book; communicating problems and implementing solutions
effectively with assigned lab supervisor; and flexibility to interact
with a number of ongoing projects. The successful candidate will develop
% ]$ O+ g3 O4 Nskills in analytical techniques, fundamental and applied research in a
supportive environment. Possible interaction with full-scale testing of
8 {/ z8 J: y" ^" s* s% ^novel materials and inter-departmental facilities.

, g+ H) `: D" w* [! BNo previous experience necessary; ability to work with people, work
safely and learn new skills in a laboratory environment; interest in
+ Y' H' @' q; ?0 D$ k8 ?$ p7 venvironmental emissions controls for industry.

Preference will be given to second year or more advanced students with
demonstrated relevant program interests.
