ACTION FOR HEALTHY COMMUNITIES (AHC) is recruiting students (preferably members of a visible minority community and/or of a Disability community) for the following summer position: Community Initiatives Documenter. We are a non-profit community development organization operating in central Edmonton. We promote community inclusion as a strategy for increasing citizenship participation and action.

8 W( K6 N5 [% P4 p3 F1 [- \) g, IThe CI Documenter will contact and meet leaders of 30 Community Initiatives (mini-projects) to discuss and document their progress to date, facilitate a planning process for each CI to sustain their outcomes, and create a final document analyzing CI trends, strengths, learnings and plans.* P8 n1 Q9 }* O

Education Background: Health Promotion, Sociology, or related Social/Human Sciences field.

Qualifications:

2. Legally entitled to work according to relevant federal and provincial legislation and regulations.
