$ s# p2 d' [. N4 \" t% g# y1. Serve as a key business and licensing role within a cross-functional team for identification, evaluation and licensing of strategically important technologies. / K, n* w! O( m |& Q; b3 T
2. Manage technology alliance activities, including the coordination of appropriate agreements’ execution, alliance negotiations, and post-deal compliance in China. % q# i9 m: n, G( q
3. Develop business plan and strategy to integrate new technology into existing global research and business platforms.

* S& e0 _7 n8 k0 `& C# LPERSONAL ATTRIBUTES AND COMPETENCIES:

( m9 b) z" C' I* z3 k4 C1. MBA and/or advanced scientific degree in agricultural biotechnology related fields (such as plant molecular, cellular and developmental biology, genomics, and plant genetics, bioinformatics, etc.) are highly desirable.
/ _/ `3 {5 W) f# p5 P: r) Z2. Proven experience in technology identification and licensing within China, or equivalent experience with biotechnology research and commercial licensing agreements is preferred.
+ i6 o3 ~% y9 Q, y5 E g' Y3. Working knowledge of Intellectual Property policies, including Chinese and international patent regulations and procedures would be advantageous.
" W+ j: w' y' N4. Productive business and scientific interactions and good relationships with major biotechnology institutes in China would be advantageous.5 n% T6 ~# J, S& U p( D
5. Able to work independently as well as cooperatively in a cross-functional and multi-cultural environment. * A$ W! v2 Q4 ]+ l: o9 c
6. Strong written and spoken communication skills in both English and Chinese. ; f v* H0 j; I% }
7. Exceptional interpersonal, negotiation and problem solving skills.
