DOORPERSON (RATT)

! v$ e) o" M; l3 B4 |JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
( W6 m0 c' q/ h9 P- i3 `policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
# }/ ~% D# z4 n0 K7 d. t1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
8 g# N0 D( k: q" D: Q4 W/ I  [3 cand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

9 D+ z$ L8 U( W! [3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
( D, |6 m# g! C8 t3 Q9 dconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
% ^% _& N% |- n/ g. }. I+ Y1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

- S/ `, ~1 g' o5 V: V! R4 g2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
2 s" c/ f: w8 z# x7 R8 @! U4 \calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

0 S% P( v  }" L3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
