& m& c! S! P/ H* }. |JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

; c: J1 F8 W9 t. r4 [4 _, g9 bDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
- X2 H0 o7 w8 ?$ Sand are University affiliated.

6 j1 E( |  a2 ?) ]# ?2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

& q, y! L$ {+ q6 X- h; w) i6 k" Y3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

; d1 ]5 R& l! k# T4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

3 ^! P4 U, k: g( `. f% z# Y5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
2 X) W. L5 _5 Y; b# Y, xarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

# N$ E9 [. |- t7 x& U1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

* X' |3 }; _+ H/ f+ a5 @) ]2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

: I  ]' S! i" V1 K3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

, v+ o# y% K# H5 m1 d" @; T5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
