JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
- s7 e6 P7 l2 \* |policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
. C& `$ ^  r& |4 A0 eand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

) l3 ?% t' E. W) Q9 ]+ @5 P( N3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

" l9 ]4 @% D/ S4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
4 w, P; g. M0 ^' u6 Wconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

" D! |* Z, u" I8 G8 y5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
! [" ^- [* P% X' e+ ?$ F& L+ X" XManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

. W& d' p8 u0 y% b* }+ G* h6 HQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

. V6 S: y! B& \3 L% v2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

* _- ^5 b  P8 b/ k3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

& H" A% d( ?6 v' w5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
% l. z* d  R* @4 U/ F) cpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
