JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
: T+ W$ [4 o2 ]6 A4 ?  r. t* d! Bpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

+ S% {9 N- e6 K+ l) h/ r  eDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 J- A( Z) `: g! z- P1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
, }0 C# X: r9 K  C
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
8 H, R6 N/ u% k  s( U  X9 w) j2 v( Dof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
! S; G- O5 y- r/ @9 B0 F2 N6 b
% z# i/ Q' E% z, [! j$ X) I5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
0 G' ~* T/ ~7 \0 farea when required.

, U7 Z, }/ k. Q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
6 E( F+ |- c0 m1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
) j! A" y! R; Q% G- S% N9 g
* Q' X% L( {% R  Z2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
9 c6 v. H8 k; Gcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
# {7 |5 \+ j5 @9 V1 |; t% _0 w* L0 u. L
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

7 G3 n4 v$ l0 h! N# |4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

1 ~0 ~  v7 y  m- FShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
