JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
4 Z2 B1 z/ C* T(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
. ^+ K6 s; a0 U( C' [# o% I# Ypolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; r! B9 M' S0 w% H% d0 A& {- P. ]1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
# u: @! P2 |( @$ w6 b* P
$ T, l  N( t$ ^2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
6 `; V- E! \  E; e* e" x, D5 P% E
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5 c! A9 c% D  P0 @% D$ b5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

7 M3 o* O8 y  s- h1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
; g6 y% h. \) ]of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

% y" T: Q1 i  ~1 g. y9 q3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
