% d* q: s3 j8 W) @: k; }JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
& ~. e+ N$ {' V6 `9 i/ w(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
' W6 t" }2 T5 m1 u- `: D3 U$ Bpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

& j7 _8 n$ N+ R& H' F2 O; ~" QDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
+ j/ e) A5 g! pand are University affiliated.
; B5 a, U3 T0 `+ }& ]- h, u
3 ?4 ?; M( ~5 J9 P2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
) h, N# |+ U' J
# ?- o# p! g7 C: z6 t3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
" C5 |- h. K% r, R) G  S8 pof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
. ]. o9 K) Z( [$ D8 V, F$ K* _% `
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
8 `8 q' {1 {& T& P/ fManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

  L' m. N# m) D! O5 p, {2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
$ R" d% @, V: T3 Nof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
; R9 K8 h6 |' G- V6 u1 |calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

4 S( J. C0 n2 {$ _( f# U3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

( v2 ?  O6 g( I" J5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
& r7 _  q( p: @5 A2 r- H. a+ \public.
