DOORPERSON (RATT)

* w1 u$ x5 l5 P$ ]; g" z6 `JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

5 b; I% H" C2 j# NDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

" A9 F5 |1 v9 p4 o( C2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
; `1 m/ c* z  @$ z. y
* w0 m5 d5 O" `; B" c* j3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
4 C  ^7 M7 g% M& |( n6 T3 k: Fof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6 }/ h7 c: E8 r1 I6 q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
0 Z# P5 t- G: f& g& l" _1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
  Y  U" }, h! b* v# u$ k5 D: Iof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

  {2 {( Q4 F- \" p, [  H5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
