DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

, Z/ l3 S" t" A) h$ C8 ?3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
- y7 J# G9 {% b3 D4 `% H# qarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

3 |  {2 F% P5 l" k( r9 i+ [QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
) g8 s, c- W0 w3 ?of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
* }. r$ T. h+ U+ z& ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3 Z- O" l% p4 y' S9 @) k6 t3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
