; ^5 s! a, P! o" D. K3 O, |JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
! p3 R1 |: H+ c8 _' Ypolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

5 K% J" e5 W+ j' c; P5 e1 `$ xDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
1 Q5 l" x/ N# v7 u( \and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
% H2 X4 J; f% g3 e7 vof garbage.
4 [+ j" X" u. J2 \
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
* l% p- o: T: X* Q- }consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
4 y# v  E: X- F! C2 E$ Y% J1 [- yManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

6 a0 D. x, d% B0 p: K& ?- ~; ?2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

, |9 z) V6 j: A: {0 E. N# q" {1 O# ~8 P3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

$ o) k0 ~( n- @4) Must be physically capable.

0 V5 ]" P; H0 j  t5 X5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
( Z" k# c% G: b  cpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
