JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
$ Q: e; `) ~' d9 z8 spolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

# k1 u$ w4 c' p$ p. n2 |$ j" F! y  RDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8 d$ b# r9 ?+ V' _# o; n: n- H1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
* p% W0 C! p* E, O7 ^# I1 {and are University affiliated.
$ n8 i" d% f3 s8 X6 |7 i
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
7 G3 n* y$ e8 b0 z2 l6 d
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

' z$ u1 S0 y  m) c4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
2 P$ h3 ]/ F; ?$ {: Vconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

1 e+ J; h) |3 w# Q7 N6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

4 C* d* V7 ]! }4 o0 `QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
2 H- ^/ h) M$ T, k3 s
7 C; {' o5 E( u/ H* Z% c2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

1 ?2 M* R$ U+ ]4 U9 @3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

! C3 {+ M' d, g* z4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
0 O  A- H3 B; N7 h9 v* B$ {public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
