DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
$ q( K. p. y" P" B4 f4 T(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
) u# j! P( @6 _4 K" V0 Mpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* t$ v* Z0 O+ d5 i8 l7 a$ C1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
/ ~+ d& q4 E" J# eand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
$ p, S3 ^, A* ]% w# f5 a
1 B+ j( |: A" ?3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

; i3 _0 c( @% o2 [4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

) _3 B, F# E. y6 S" T9 G6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
, j9 K# Q# J4 D2 `/ Y; i0 V$ O4 gManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

) i- V8 t) w7 MQUALIFICATIONS;
; Q7 t1 ^* e: ~1 c1 O6 l' R3 Q3 s1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

3 p" z" S0 v5 R, o( |2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
% ]. F/ M4 S" x/ `of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
/ [. U3 }8 O! F0 l! Ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

( {  k; Z2 B  p8 C6 C3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
