DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
/ z' p9 z9 G8 n6 k% w# d, V; H/ U) ]policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
2 z5 P2 P' a% @7 Xand are University affiliated.

! Z5 [: U. p; w1 q. ?0 K2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

* P1 ?9 e* @0 v5 D- B1 Q9 V+ i; f+ @3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
$ e5 r2 h2 K& @  ^  @& ~of garbage.

. Q. D  H& t0 ?4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

2 J# W5 j; u$ c% }& ~6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
( d! E- s6 Q/ V* B8 J7 x& ?' uManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

$ k* {) R! k; H* @' TQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
6 w# ]& X7 J4 M' @of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
