3 S# `% x( j% t+ M8 HJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
% A3 m/ u2 x( r; X(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

) k# L& M0 _( k3 w1 H1 S* T7 }DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- u3 A; _0 |' ]9 P2 e6 v1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
& e7 C3 z( H: \# H( G) ~' c8 K/ n7 n" {6 L
$ U9 |1 R6 m: F; }. N' ?8 ^* P  N2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

; I0 i* i( [! S) W2 d/ G: j3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
$ A9 b% s( R5 @# C5 Z4 g1 Xof garbage.
7 ^" s/ c7 k. e3 U& r
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
, p! K3 V9 n% f( tManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

6 q! w# B2 J. k$ e" L# [QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

% y# |( A0 t* ~& M2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
* K( n( [/ u" s: p# v6 |$ tof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
6 B* ]: }8 u# q+ z0 M! z% R
1 T: U8 `% O* J$ ?( w3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5 u  f- ~, ]: c3 U2 i. R- s0 y5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
9 }2 K, ~# d' ], N; epublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
