DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
. s  l7 E6 [3 vpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
' W3 E( R; l3 V2 h" r' }7 L/ x, F8 I( f
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

) `4 u1 j- ?( l/ |+ U3 t5 p3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
! K7 \: \, o& y, O+ j
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
$ f& O/ A. @- y  E7 Q1 k' uconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

: d% T- v/ f5 ]8 l: W; S9 U; s5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

+ O; ~! j1 A) }) ^- x2 I, s( h' L6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

+ I' q  [5 J, {  ^/ _$ _QUALIFICATIONS;
8 h7 J! [  m: Y1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
. g" H: z5 \2 C2 Jcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
: d* |  K! p! r$ Zpublic.
