DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 z& y# f+ b( I% w1 C0 A1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
( i$ N# B- j* ?1 G3 A( C" y
  ?1 M2 D. N& D8 Z2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

) i% P& u+ |* x% ]) u' w* }" s3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

( J& ?& P# x. h, A4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

1 P, z" X* Z. U) q  g# j3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
