DOORPERSON (RATT)

" a3 y& C- m" F; q# H, A* a$ [JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
5 A/ N/ `. x% h- r. w* U8 A2 P(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

6 U9 \" s/ `  S; `  uDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
" j7 {( S9 D* J0 o8 U6 F+ \. q$ U
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
" ?8 k# F: K# U9 O
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
" e3 y* t* v/ m$ SManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

2 p) T% |, C+ Y+ c  UQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
! F. ]3 |5 |& T) R. i' m! Lcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

+ B9 Q0 b. X, v) A0 |0 V3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
