DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
  r6 W# I6 J/ J. S! q1 N(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
5 ]- _( Y: ]& D6 c& E& apolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ z% w: y  e5 I: ]) M7 S1 E. f1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

8 |3 ]2 t# d  R& W8 o2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

' R( J% {: @0 L, h+ r3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
5 Z" f4 P. G; w6 zof garbage.

. m, `5 v! @9 k0 n, ?, e4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
# s) B+ z; a# d* harea when required.

5 l% ?# ]: A6 L% E6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

9 g+ S7 _* u# ]6 x7 B# Y3 W' M8 Y1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

' r8 W  c2 [4 w/ {5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
! T# V( h; h# y3 Tpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
