JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
$ Z9 Y: m: T% D+ B1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
- H9 S/ P+ k8 t+ b% h; P" Uand are University affiliated.
) u' d: s) h/ c( i& o7 m
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
3 S1 L4 l1 A7 i& W
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
  S( B8 d/ M3 p2 n6 xconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

9 D; x8 |; m( L2 p6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

/ d+ X' G  x. V' Z5 X2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
# k9 X+ S6 f2 z% [of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
5 q* ~5 `' ^, `6 ?4 m6 e- Ncalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
