JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

4 F0 V3 s) p6 J5 Z) \5 Y3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* V( D& j: q) t2 U- @& Mof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
2 o2 {5 ?% A- _& P$ u8 ]! Hconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5 E8 ^: L8 W+ M4 i5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

9 P5 g8 _2 u2 Q- g- K1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

# e/ L- v% K( ^# p2 b3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

/ n7 c6 C5 `+ o- A: I4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
