JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

, X& I: p4 L+ H3 n3 ~! p2 JDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
: O' J9 E/ T4 V2 l% s1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
& s' ]+ F: U' p1 fand are University affiliated.

  u" S9 Y9 N+ H2 }, X$ L) }- N; o! `2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

' i' d/ X+ V- x# u  o4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
/ k$ E! z  E$ a" wconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

, m- U% D( P  x6 P6 I5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

0 T" R- t' t, m9 E# o" R5 |/ t6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

+ g4 X' ^# i' eQUALIFICATIONS;
2 E( c, Y4 R) m1 r0 h1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
  @( u2 M! t* D  U6 P/ g7 D
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

( z4 A; a9 F7 h4) Must be physically capable.

+ P  o! e1 `& I* l) j5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
