DOORPERSON (RATT)

" Z: u, a( T( QJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
& |6 \0 C- _! O% R$ T(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

6 i+ h! O8 H+ Y0 E) u/ lDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
' J' G' `8 V! [7 D) D1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2 P$ |7 e* y7 x0 v2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

0 M: V% J3 v9 R+ ]# L0 r4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

9 x2 v/ _2 f; Q8 S# b. w5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
4 U3 D% N+ t. C! l' a2 U# Rarea when required.

" W+ P4 n- L+ Z6 q, B& z6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
  a8 V% C( m( mManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

) |: m. ]; B$ i/ \QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
% `% M, x6 P+ g! l1 o5 F: K
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
" u5 m( E. q) c' gof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
& Z+ S+ U: K2 B! P- q3 ~calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

public.
