JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

6 t; x" w& L: R$ n' b" M: [DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
( V! d& R: G$ s+ U2 l1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
2 }) n3 `5 C3 U; |( _1 w2 Fand are University affiliated.
, j1 z, m9 \3 C
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

7 f4 R0 n4 B, G/ N5 W7 \+ A3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
4 z. Q5 V' L% y0 G; d
0 m3 x+ x& H: d9 R; O  h# m4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

9 \6 X6 }" T3 _& R/ V& b; \5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

0 C7 u( `$ v! V& D6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
) d+ \8 }5 o, g9 jManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

3 I1 k1 m/ z- Z6 K( i+ Q( u- Q2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
4 K  r. x, p4 f4 M  O7 G. P( O. @calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

) ~6 @  @* s9 p7 l( u  ]5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
