7 y% b' Q! G% s! p5 D% uJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

- ]5 T! b+ |% G; D' J! q( \. cDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
; c: }3 C9 }, U/ k, P, B+ Q" `
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
5 \( ~1 j# v: i  m) Aof garbage.

" W& N% u' V% }+ F8 M4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
; Z/ k2 e9 ]# [7 F% Q; a2 i' F9 P: oconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

; b) ~0 {. A$ z% U5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
0 [3 t+ R$ x2 ?3 K; `" u1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

* ?% Q' A' A6 S2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
' S9 l  V+ A, ^calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
