DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
! N0 ^9 y) h3 d4 q& p7 k; a5 _- npolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 N  x4 F: G" D+ |" T1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
- z1 U# ]/ }0 ]( _
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

) C- m5 T& E% @$ n4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

! Z+ T5 t- a4 u2 P: Z+ N! r+ y5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
/ v8 \# j! g  Q) H* |) l+ v; aarea when required.

/ O3 m+ q$ t0 f- c6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

! Z( Y& }, A6 U1 |# H; V' L( M2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.
