JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
) K/ s4 z. l, t% j% i(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
$ u) p' f4 [4 `6 V. x/ o! F: Z+ gpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

. n2 t/ T( w& N+ X+ R) RDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

9 u9 y. V) `* X, X- n% Z2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
% V: u( H$ S( Z0 uof garbage.

! n" O/ F  ]# N2 i9 v; y* ~4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
( h3 d+ ~5 @4 ~9 T  t+ E( ~. |consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
% x  v2 ?* x2 J+ t6 Q1 N1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

! e. v. f! Q7 R  J) m6 Z' Z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

0 P' x7 ~+ |- u5 w  g2 a5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
2 |8 K& P7 T& Ipublic.
