DOORPERSON (RATT)

; n* J% I, N  a2 d  lJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
6 i" {4 e  e9 l" `. M) V. M: z6 p$ F(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

4 p4 f+ n) P1 c% c1 s2 W- J/ JDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
: y8 @4 I5 V+ B' v2 _and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

: v* j8 V1 d# @! O2 ]9 F& p3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
1 a: p; n8 S2 C; c/ C0 |8 Eof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

. b4 Q6 K" F' N: z" u6 o6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

( w, ~7 [+ k9 U4 S) j! c' zQUALIFICATIONS;
1 |3 Y& N6 J/ b. A1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
' Z8 Y: b: c+ F$ g  n" ?of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
, y5 I* H/ S' e' fcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

& Y# p( \: K5 E1 r% h4 \3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

: I7 X, ~9 r. I$ b; o5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
