DOORPERSON (RATT)

6 [. P2 s% n  P8 B; A# x% a; RJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
5 Y, o- o, N$ z+ e(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
) {4 g6 E- X6 J$ Rpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
) i* D! x6 I# Z" a2 ~1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

+ r. F. b- N, m4 G! L( i2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
; {1 }% \6 w6 E3 l. N6 E6 F0 Kof garbage.

& y  R8 |8 X4 u& k1 v' \4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

4 u: D7 y; @( M3 ~0 f! I5 B, c5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
3 x" Y) K9 K& M) P9 lof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
; g) L; g" `# r9 ^4 v! R: Zcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

* b$ W) }/ K1 G" Z8 \5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
