DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
$ I3 F# a* |9 Q; l. r1 u9 i' ~(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% _" X  \3 Q. I6 d& J1 {DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* j' R. [/ w  M. O1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

4 `2 P% x( i+ L! C  h4 r2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
6 B, Z7 W' b: Z0 n1 Z; Fof garbage.

; }& \% m3 ]+ ^/ h# |4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

- w2 }4 i1 ^* [8 @6 e7 A6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
+ L4 H! \1 ~" r" Q7 S) C, H1 dManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

; X& k+ m# |+ J: Z" MQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
) A! K$ C9 ~' v
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
; F# R8 b+ |9 [# _: j/ K" Sof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
, [; \, C3 {& m& Scalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

9 ^) ^2 y/ D6 D3 h2 l( e3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
