6 l; J4 t0 N1 F9 rJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
  N$ _* z# J, Y1 j# w- Cpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

2 P9 {( Y8 L& hDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
# J/ N" d' Z9 Q0 s1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

/ d2 c9 E+ @2 S2 i4 n1 z0 z4 h# U3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

1 z* _: w. `' C- R3 m4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  Y( V6 }# b0 N0 A. t$ U7 h5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

2 x9 O9 z  u6 v( |. g% J& q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
1 t0 \) H, l* x8 E; BManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

3 K* S7 N1 S- I! t) U1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
0 w$ k  r. E2 `of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
+ B& F3 P% H! P) I+ Rcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

& c, w. ], O6 K  V$ V: L4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Union Position/Updated August 29/2005

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
