DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
+ `& _. ^( S7 \3 g4 t1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
6 a7 @  f1 \3 Q: b$ x4 tand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
& [( `/ Q5 L! |0 v& \5 e2 Aof garbage.

) l* X" R0 _9 V" J" {0 A4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
' c2 l( k1 }' z3 T6 |" m# J7 r: {area when required.

. }& Y5 u" `1 F( m& T7 i% Y6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
- M+ w- T7 T% r  R6 u# _% }5 bManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
4 O( X; q0 ?( `; Z1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

; H+ h5 z4 c* {$ c) h. `! o2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

/ Z1 W0 @/ K/ W" X* z! T' [4 C3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

public.
