DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
  K( Q  m( x& X$ w2 w& b" i(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
0 t( ~; P* m6 w( vpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

9 \' V% z' x/ O- ]1 GDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8 z9 y! c* b$ P# b- q1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
8 W0 y/ t3 V/ U+ U* J$ N. q2 N
0 \; g7 B) U; a7 W9 i2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
; F% m' x8 G2 F8 G" c1 C( Fof garbage.

$ l3 [5 `( [; C) y/ V  g* {6 a4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

! \3 f) Z' O% o0 Q: ]5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
# K0 e+ R. r: B; Narea when required.
! n7 {6 N; Y: F" C5 j; U9 q' ?
6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

! Y. F% k3 R$ v1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
& E) q) R! P: Y& _1 D; ~$ }
: a8 |" J$ S( \2 \7 [0 E2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
) P  v6 `5 `# L& F0 ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3 ], Q# ?6 n/ c" W5 T; v3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
