DOORPERSON (RATT)

+ \: e" J6 D4 X2 S% J( sJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

6 i0 W6 U& \& A' }4 _DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
7 A+ _% U" Y% h* m1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
8 v2 q/ s, t5 \) v4 O; s) U/ D" q' cand are University affiliated.

2 Y" `$ X! w# t* X1 @2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

% y  ^& ]1 P. d( q3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
5 G; ?5 h( E! N+ V) F0 h, g* J/ E! R
6 w3 r7 u7 R0 g0 ^4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

3 ?* z# i' O4 Q1 J: R* I8 u5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

: `8 h1 U; q8 e" I" a+ H& X6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

: ^; c6 m' b! F# e) _  v0 C' BQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
' m+ u; p' \7 d  j7 F* jof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
" ?' n. Y2 k4 \0 s$ {% N: d" ]calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
) e; {7 _) \8 d6 a3 B- u7 Z
4) Must be physically capable.

7 [! S# n0 }/ l5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
