- ]8 G- j! ?1 |& n+ {8 OJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
& N9 r7 N# @9 s: Q1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

) S: h$ D% e) @0 r6 Q, C; N3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

1 f: d6 X; J. T0 t4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
$ }4 E# d3 n3 y$ E* z' p6 r7 ~" Pconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

! F) {0 z% ^7 B5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
" H* A) ?; Q  U: M( X% Zarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
3 N* o! d2 v  q/ H+ H" H+ c/ v1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

$ V* @# C& f* c6 O- L: A* ?: ?) R8 t3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.
, T* E5 r3 O8 ?8 z6 d& x- M
' h# w2 R! k% ~5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
; k. [8 S- w2 x+ w, A/ spublic.
