DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
0 Y' D- z) ]- d(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
1 c; f# a& R5 z& H  ~9 ]- Jpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" N0 X8 q9 y$ r( V0 a1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
: h; g9 F9 h$ ]) A  pand are University affiliated.

& f1 z# ]0 n3 ]" W! u* y. I2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
) {. v3 V1 T* C& B6 vof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
. o) \& h' o7 l; E8 larea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

  y- [6 J% W! V1 ]QUALIFICATIONS;
- C) F+ r* R$ |  R0 \! B1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

0 Y0 x, |0 m; z- C. a2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

! q% G" L  j2 S6 D( v- T/ x3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4 A' [; x! @/ Y: `" A2 l4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
