DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
+ _/ Z, y. T" [1 p(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
+ o( M  N; g- Ppolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

: m6 E/ l1 l+ j# d  o. b: d2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

0 z) ?+ Q$ K* {! t* I3 L2 R3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

1 k: y% R0 P2 q2 N1 x6 f! x  h5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
# O  M* H8 A2 b# k+ d. tManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

" ~% E* m/ a2 d  h6 z$ {9 Y5 o1 M! s2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
7 F; w% g) r3 [# [8 u! T; m, ^of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

! `) }4 t2 q$ K7 s3 S( W
5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
