DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
0 V6 y: V) l8 [& [% Hpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 {4 F  p6 Q1 Y% b: v1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
6 _. e7 @4 A1 V' g& R( Xand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

6 S5 B5 }% V4 _; {5 k* L* N3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

6 K# C, [0 R9 d' O4 p5 a4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
, q8 w2 S) n8 [1 Y) ?consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

+ a; _  V+ ~9 W3 S$ [QUALIFICATIONS;
: d  I& ]$ z, f3 I, }  }/ K: I1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
& r6 X0 a+ V# |/ z9 qof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
