DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

' m& B. R( g- H' B# r4 KDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
0 z( p! z2 i( }2 }. q
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

/ q  v! W9 r5 a0 [2 A4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

% d2 U( x: t# [1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

+ W# J& j" x) s) j2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
* M& W1 c3 O! D4 _calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

2 S* ^1 D" ?5 {3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
