DOORPERSON (RATT)

) [5 [' e' k$ O; D* RJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
) _# c) W! o/ |(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
5 h( b  J& j' W3 F& F' b3 upolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

) y: y9 `2 n3 Z3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
& X' {. h$ m; V4 \3 {# r* E4 x# mof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
# i" ]( h/ i  G! U- J6 [% Econsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
; G8 s$ k/ f6 d3 ?% E& s+ M
  r+ P9 Y8 V2 \  a* b( `4 H, H5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
( v- v/ N* o: B: J  H% ^2 fManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

. G* x% O& r" |1 B& u1 k" ]2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

% p: P' M# ^, i+ P2 J9 g3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
