DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 F9 }7 m2 }- O$ i+ S0 _6 M1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
+ l; o0 P2 L6 t1 jand are University affiliated.
# f! _3 b9 {  |$ s% N2 Q/ M7 d
; m3 ]- s3 p4 G0 n) p5 U2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
% P  P* v# O6 B2 c! b6 L7 g8 M' U
$ Q8 n: v! V' v3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

9 E4 E' r: o1 `7 i0 I( {1 X& H4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

8 N1 k8 S( T& E5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

* g' Z7 G" N, s2 V3 w6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
$ E3 P( ~& b$ y' sManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

0 N3 L2 E& q* UQUALIFICATIONS;
+ }2 u$ r1 H) W0 Y1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
1 \8 y* [- y9 @2 o1 q* ]! wof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

$ A' @6 ~. D6 q8 e6 z6 P8 Z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

9 b% J  F( A  V. y. n: h1 _5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
