% r, }. N; Y# N2 B" V5 n/ B" [JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
: y( T0 [2 r# \! f$ Epolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

; R% t+ f5 |' B8 q3 r) q) [2 KDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
" X2 _8 F5 J( v; T1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
- k" t9 }7 y5 \and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

6 }4 W2 |2 {) z& k! v7 |3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
! W! h0 H$ v" |: \of garbage.

0 w, w% u' z$ i3 l  ^: h4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
/ P) V3 Q; q, J! V7 }consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

9 }0 J1 Q* c1 r  O3 ?$ x6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

! ]' |& b9 F$ T" H" nQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

1 H% o# ]5 |$ o9 }& y; `* _7 D2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
* A; n+ p3 I0 ]; e$ ]8 vcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
6 V  ]% o+ m; W2 h2 K- c, b0 f
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

# D& I* w* @) b/ x; O& x4) Must be physically capable.

$ \( T4 ]- A& G5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
