8 Q" R* ]! Y9 k1 `JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
: m+ k- Y0 w7 s# o" s$ R(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
: }/ ~* X: u  U1 O. k2 t0 H5 ^( ~policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
% {: T, N/ A7 ]/ y/ Y! e1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
( S- |7 b+ Y% A; A' F
: e* p! X1 h8 c3 M" h# Z2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

5 d3 S% K  j! q+ Y" q( W3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
  N9 |- ]: l. D1 e, B( P& qof garbage.
! V* e! X! H! _" x6 Z/ l% [# @+ @) n
, y4 F  M1 a- r! c3 f9 G4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

. C0 G; u; Z0 {! V+ J- n. o5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
! Z# a6 T0 G3 U, W9 RManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

, r3 K; r1 }  }% \1 r8 \1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

( t! w7 d0 `; O& ~  ^% h$ X/ q2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
1 z/ c2 E7 ^: @! L  Tof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
2 @3 d9 [6 x) ]$ f! x1 q: hcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

1 @) q6 q  y) ^+ @. j! _4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
