+ }* W0 @/ g( h. f. I  v( v" ^: |JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
0 b7 t5 f; t- y3 k8 ?& W5 Ypolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

8 n$ A" K5 N' }8 QDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

6 l# g0 Z  }0 q4 _8 F/ \3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
# j9 k' y/ Y% [9 c
! I0 O( R1 t* @4 \4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
/ }7 @; X& y/ T+ f  Y  N) ?7 bconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

! M1 R6 D6 [! [2 \" h5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

( E5 b& }2 x/ K' Y2 Z3 aQUALIFICATIONS;
- w  w; V* C/ u! _1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
% R; _4 Y- P' m* d! T
6 Z- C2 u3 m6 \, g5 s) y5 Y2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
. K3 f  q# x6 B) \) x: Y; _- }& Xcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

$ ?  z, K$ [0 g  y" p' O4) Must be physically capable.
% s; R0 b( j9 V" W, q. v2 J
5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

3 d/ U6 w% \+ {Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
