JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
$ I; m6 o7 W/ `/ J& P  r(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
8 l& T. x# L/ Ipolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

, c" o2 g& u" V  L! W- YDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
$ Q- x# i- M( m) `7 i; L; ]1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
: |8 e1 b9 W& r1 X$ @* v6 }' hand are University affiliated.
1 u$ I, ?; P6 F% `0 z
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
2 s, T: s- d! I2 c3 Q% M6 \
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5 g4 w4 f) |8 q5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
. y/ j) P+ T, T1 z& q1 XManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

$ I7 X. n8 b& p. Q+ Z7 {9 t) o4 JQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2 t4 L+ g6 J( W: |2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
& t8 e, N5 J1 z: W! A3 A/ b
/ T2 k0 [, e9 B3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
  H! v+ J4 h# }+ i3 y1 s5 M4 e: e
4) Must be physically capable.

0 x+ h0 g" `# {" F* Z2 C* O5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
