DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
& V. D  s9 e# v; j+ O+ @(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
5 C# h1 J* q6 N0 o  Dpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* H$ y8 u0 k4 c9 ]+ R- y0 B1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
- b/ {/ n: d& V4 k5 j# f  B$ _
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
6 C1 @  S; w  i9 \4 a+ p1 {; |2 @
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
, X0 r6 I' W$ qof garbage.

, t$ A2 ?0 [) u. O8 o0 N4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
0 y$ b% _% j9 B, Z" {consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

2 ^+ a* ^( ]! ~: W5 |8 \6 z6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
* G) b7 }5 M) HManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
: p3 i, p, Q6 x' Y$ P. m- ~0 q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
- }% a1 h1 A# e' mof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

& z2 t' }5 J: P/ W) |4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
