DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

& Y+ K. T5 H" QDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

" Y& O( r, h( X4 ^* e5 ?; [2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
' |8 w' j3 N" C. x- ^1 r4 g
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* g: Q9 N) U% @- t; p: Vof garbage.

0 z" `- W' f1 f3 G6 H- _4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
! n* p9 C8 g: P$ m  P. Sconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
! M4 s7 k- |# {( F  U& J7 Warea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

2 C& \+ }" d8 L1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
7 W& g/ K" K6 x2 Pcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

4 I. j1 c0 [- @  }2 P3 A3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
