JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
. p. H. |- s/ u6 }2 ^7 b, p' j1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
, E7 y( {. S- c( n& yand are University affiliated.

$ Y7 A2 ]8 k; O7 i: A2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

9 I4 p$ L0 r& |$ ~; _$ G& W; H+ @( B3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

/ A; v9 H4 L# G. B4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
" c: [* b; A4 s5 z9 i8 x$ U! fconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  e  u4 c# s. f( ^; J* Q5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

* T  q1 M4 U4 j. Q* O) q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

6 [& R5 G0 c6 g' G1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
) {5 V& S5 ]# ~( R: `4 v
3 m; n0 o; k" V+ q2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
# i% m" a) d4 p. Aof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
$ Y& j2 t: B' J* {/ w; Icalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

: `! A  n1 @  O! B3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
