JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
, z& t& W9 W3 N3 F. H(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
4 V& a$ ]& l& P+ Zpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

$ o; O, ~6 \( D' g( T3 g; oDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! r% j) n9 e6 v  p4 S1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
  B# w% s- Y1 Z( |% s0 i5 d4 z
" G7 Z, x7 }4 f' d' e0 a2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
7 V/ ]+ g9 ~2 d, V7 vof garbage.

; D2 l/ {, ^% C+ @4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

7 a- q* g7 Q$ j: L3 u+ B: S" i, b5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
- K) ]& y( [, _0 f9 {Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

' j( r) O" o& l' U& Q/ c# U1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2 s  T: M/ u- N2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
2 S! m3 q2 y2 O8 U- X' Nof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

( n7 A% \7 w6 Y2 {$ K6 X* ~3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4 ?/ x9 _1 q, Q6 \4 S" c9 F. }8 }4) Must be physically capable.

6 _6 u6 k5 ?; T( l! X5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
  \$ V7 `" x6 t3 m7 Q- U1 ^public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
