% Q# C/ S4 a% L. P* J. m: u" I" @JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
" k6 O1 F- k: Y/ n/ H* [(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
  V- c6 [( K3 p5 I. A( epolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2 |  h" Z. a6 B9 `/ X2 h9 e2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

, V6 `  H4 T5 }/ r; e3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

9 U& h0 X' Z! n: H' X0 B3 Q/ s; a4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

* r4 A% B7 `5 i! T0 d& K6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
% P8 ]3 i$ P; {Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

* k/ p: P5 F- j  ]! Q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

; Q  o- `9 k  w  d2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
- l. P! C* J5 V$ p5 w$ N% Hcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
! ]# b6 Y- `; T5 R4 T3 h
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
