DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
: X4 Y( f1 q* Ppolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 y/ W5 G. P3 T& B' v9 h1 S! P1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
$ h8 @8 n. E, A  p8 J- X
) z; L+ W0 y' a  w3 M% M2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

6 _; \: c7 b3 C! d" x3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
' K0 y, B* R7 n2 s& C) w
( h) V7 Z9 f* Y1 G1 g1 H% n+ o4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

. }  v% p- r- I: P. B0 Y" U8 }( \8 s1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
! ]9 m; R: X+ Ccalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

% s5 P5 t4 u% `$ a3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
