DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
0 S- x4 P% n& w1 D5 s/ B(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
8 w" V- a/ ~, }2 ]0 ?$ M+ C$ xand are University affiliated.

) E  F+ J/ |/ W8 T: m( `$ F2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* d0 p1 h4 c9 iof garbage.
  ]: @2 Y) @: ~5 G. k% J! P
2 d. V! A, r4 }( M3 v, O4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
$ a* O! b& v* ~: e. t. w% O# U' rconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

1 g! h3 D7 Q. F: I( p4 P5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
& Z* A# \+ z+ @+ x: L5 y9 I: uarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
0 L* }# _! e5 o) [. f3 D9 F1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

- w" m. C3 e, |, h7 \- @# U2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
& a4 ?! ^" S  C4 Eof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
& y5 {2 t7 d2 B% M  s+ H) jcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

9 A5 H4 c( g  q( z( M4 c4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
