DOORPERSON (RATT)

  Z5 l6 N" @( A! \: E9 U. e) ^- u) q: y& n; OJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
" e- z: o' ^  E(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

( M% ?; ^. J7 \# TDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
9 B2 W5 z! V6 i( }" c4 z2 e
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
4 L: n" @5 S) Eof garbage.

! m6 S6 t4 C1 A2 J" G8 W7 _  U4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
8 c- w% N% q* O) E' M6 ~consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  m1 {  S( I* b' _; Z5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

' K5 ]; u6 h4 J( lQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

* R5 ^7 W4 R  A+ x2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
, s: `+ s6 F6 h5 V+ ]& v6 p  `calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
