DOORPERSON (RATT)

: p! n# Y2 l; e* A9 x3 x1 DJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
! s, P( N/ N1 R4 ~3 H  z(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
; t  b% z0 b, N) d4 Gpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
' l4 u) b2 W# k' R) u% Mand are University affiliated.

) |% u" H# \3 N6 N2 k! e& w2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

8 ^" D' G* ^9 c# |: ]$ `& E) r3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
% l2 e) n7 K# Fof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
0 i; L9 @; B7 `, \consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

! y: M) D1 f# O7 T5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
6 F7 F) p- E, V/ ]area when required.
$ e( i) D" ~7 F* W5 v" W
6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
( n) v. U9 o0 s% l- I/ _+ Z  L1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

) D; c7 M+ O; z2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
5 Q* l) C3 f  p5 pof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
# B1 n. J) U( D1 R" i0 bcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
; @6 _. w* P+ D9 f/ R+ }: y2 j; q' t
( C0 V* \; E& z6 I% y' v3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

0 w7 g2 j% n4 m6 p$ W: J2 p1 W4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
