% _2 k+ V1 \  RJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% `9 o6 k6 E" p) P$ h" T, LDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

! G  d% b, W) ]6 m3 l& Y) J; D7 f% y0 \2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
- T0 N2 Z3 y( Y- R* l, w7 g
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

2 \! q  i; M7 ]5 A- ]) r$ b4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
% ^0 }/ F0 @8 t0 m" E  rarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
% h0 k  L( g( B7 W. H, _) ?
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
* q  S5 t4 K$ D& @9 Y( Ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

, n& c( \8 E/ j4) Must be physically capable.
) N4 o, E  y4 M1 A9 A2 e$ c
; n2 d, d' `* E, `* p+ x9 y7 [5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
