, r& n# m6 u3 V' F. O3 g! wJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
- k2 ]6 i8 n; Dpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

. r- v% ]5 E; rDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
- I/ {) F5 v- w! Q! Y
' G& `% A) H" E" [; p3 y2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

9 W7 |+ E6 U! u  K2 [& |3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
. G6 n, E8 N* S- _) uof garbage.

  o/ M. i: G( T/ C; I4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
3 ^" B: D+ }, p7 r( f6 r( c! Econsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
$ [8 p+ v( T/ Z" z6 Y  ?area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
! o5 o! d3 g. J- S0 {Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
- {: _. V0 T# ], P' O( m- R( r) ]1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
6 N) o) Y6 V& B- `' A0 ~calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
