; ~6 Q* s8 A" XJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

6 E& ?# P3 E* N* H7 [( ]2 s2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

! `. i4 v5 y0 l( y. S2 J3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

9 I% H- u; c6 a. K- e4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

" R4 Z7 Q2 ?, X. r5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

4 i8 u# d( Q3 v: Z  R1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

% k5 T, P( w, y2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
& E* p. Q. E+ j, s# ]9 c! B& _of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

# J, D: f3 c6 B9 w" Y; k3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
