DOORPERSON (RATT)

7 U) y8 W. u8 {JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

# T0 ~1 N5 ]7 ~1 J2 L: c+ fDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
( m# \, o) B/ n1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

" f2 o% x$ H  O+ c; w+ e2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
$ D( ]! f5 z( q( I: zof garbage.

% R! h3 G5 w* ~9 |& c4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
; V  _( B: E) o) e$ @consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

* l7 G8 V) b5 G1 I/ o5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

  ^, Z# r; |; j# U- z: K# L: h# c6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

1 A/ `% y4 W. A$ ~* U1 @2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
5 l# _  o; b8 @2 U' Bcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

$ [' @& N& ~+ L1 O% R3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
