JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
! T- ^; G* R- M, j(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
  k0 f$ m: x. Wpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
: o6 d) D7 W' U- u% Xand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
% s5 M5 M# O6 {( f! v- u/ b
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
# G( @! B9 {5 N
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

( R- @* y% b2 X2 n9 L5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
0 X) X1 J: l6 i9 Varea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
8 f+ c/ f' X! ]# N9 DManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

! X% J8 V. ^& A$ s$ h4 BQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

: n% @+ t% i# f3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
