DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; \4 _4 g$ N. C, z0 U& q1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

- b" ^) q/ R! ~4 z3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
/ f2 D. K- z7 j9 V% U- uconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
# b3 K) N( W( n# w5 e6 X/ N
8 c5 r2 e3 D; T' `$ L4 }5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

+ K9 l) R3 H1 d5 ~' d  _' z6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
3 _( \! b# }- D. T4 i. ]% m; |1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

0 Q% q% c, {9 p0 D, v3 {% ]2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

* h5 l4 y# ~2 l7 d; o# x! k7 @3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
% q  C$ G- M+ |$ M7 Z
4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
# D( g+ W- F; |( ~$ f! V+ Kpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
