JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
, H" k$ k5 t$ k. a) R1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

! m- ^. d. @( T! B7 k( _+ |  D& `2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

* u' n4 Q. y- }2 r+ Y4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
! K1 C' m- F2 b& fconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

) x& I/ j" I5 P  W) n! d5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
0 V6 P2 t* K, b% b" k, b
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
/ h4 U; y, g; C5 n( i6 D4 m" K& Uof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

! U8 C! o* Q; }+ h0 J4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
