DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
5 u. ^/ K3 e8 b- ~  dpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
# S' c  P  c* w+ Y& f$ M+ h1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

2 n5 v3 ]) k+ S' v3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

; F" p3 u0 V% p2 k* s8 h0 f  N1 |1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
1 d# C/ A& I- Xof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
1 Y7 Q! b# Z2 J9 ?% Xcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

9 S" P1 D6 C8 z( p# v) |+ S3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
