DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
* o" r. b) H- d7 ^: N3 R(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
$ R8 b! H% I* Fpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
# p. S% d1 s4 hand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
! h/ d2 a; _7 r; h8 M, T$ w
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
1 P  w% y" C0 x" qof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

  I8 Y$ Y/ U; U: s9 K- Z0 y- @. [5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
' r- V2 i  h" ~; _! V0 e$ K+ vcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

) s8 Z, c  \7 l7 y2 T: B. ]3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
