; X# O0 O7 h+ _JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
/ y6 T9 k8 }, u7 }(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.
! v: Z8 d# j' W6 M+ u
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
# C- v, ]# v, O& X; w# ?" kand are University affiliated.
, B+ o3 H; x3 W0 M
' |9 ?: Y, S% P2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

% D" @  P: J8 l* x3 F2 n4 m3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
" h" S$ I( U/ p' |, H/ g, ^of garbage.
2 m6 o; U& r7 ~; J" Q( R1 j
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
9 E$ M9 z- x1 Aconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

2 K# g" [! b* |5 q+ Z0 U  v5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
' H5 H1 w; v+ X, k$ q/ Y) karea when required.

! H: X' h, Z' g  A& e( U6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
& O6 z' D+ k$ O& JManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

5 x; g- f1 b) e7 ]9 l2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
. r( b  c3 y2 i' O, d/ E9 dof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
+ U* G; Q0 }2 \& E
0 z0 l" k  E  T3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5 [; x; C- g! h$ f& x& t  g4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
