JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

: s" t% R4 C* F0 M$ Z+ vDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* z% K: I  p0 m1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
4 p& o! e* n) D& ]" E. F
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

- d* l' S9 W( b: `% e) b" z  l3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
0 ]4 i, n" E; z; L) Qof garbage.

4 _! u+ Z( c' y4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

& ]$ s8 l( Z' U( P( I& A5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

  U$ b& P" t' M7 V1 E) z) X6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
' F4 }, K7 p% z) ^: |Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
; M3 I; K1 v& O" y5 U/ ^
3 }" Z: M; `- j& [0 q3 p( R1 j2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
0 o+ d" ?+ M$ Hof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
! _6 g: \& W: \. bcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5 g$ q  ^7 R  ~2 E0 T4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
