DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
6 s0 K0 a% D* \6 d( v(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
/ L5 x2 ^9 ~5 g3 ^, e9 }policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

: z: }' t( e) ~( VDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
) ~3 B& ~5 x6 n3 \! a% eand are University affiliated.

2 U* D4 a9 R/ N- h9 L( {: _2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
* V- S, w: L% Z& z' v9 |* }, \
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

0 M% ^  G( [# d$ L2 K$ U0 i4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
& ~+ |4 u9 ?; j( sconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

& R" \! t. R" Y! x( x" N1 Q5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
  m/ Y/ B( O' e% V. y% e' A5 Q" Y6 jManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
: \6 R( V1 i2 G+ U  A$ u2 G
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

" `; x( e' a& S4) Must be physically capable.

public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
