DOORPERSON (RATT)

- s  y, p# C8 Y3 K) Q5 Z5 rJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
8 {4 W- k5 X5 V5 Q3 P" b(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
7 b- c- r) M- A. C+ p5 E5 U" ~) h1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
) B: X/ T# q' d0 B$ w6 {( qand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

$ [% q7 a* m2 `# z: _% u3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
' U$ f: J; ?: D; a4 u) iof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
' D/ R% B8 v. g8 }" A2 marea when required.

( f# g2 S. W+ i8 e" e; ?7 }6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1 }" [: M! h* g7 x1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
% s0 B( V" r3 Q6 q( ^* k. i" T
- w! Z! z* w4 y* S2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
1 ~! p* P5 \" k" }, P/ `5 fof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
( u" k9 F8 |% rcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

" ~6 L4 H& H& q+ U5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
