DOORPERSON (RATT)

) y/ ^+ s- U: Q* j% t. j' R+ s. rJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
7 r5 a# T. j! Zpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
* t% T% G, X* e1 }& Uand are University affiliated.

7 [* ^6 W7 [6 h9 r2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

: H3 I% u; f# d) p5 D( K3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
+ G; p) N: Q, x7 L/ y2 Fconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

5 J( M. {% p8 K9 n6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
  q8 y0 P9 b2 @1 Q$ ?4 ]Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
' [( N. q* H# }! ~of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
2 c6 r& x: i1 u% }calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

" Z0 X  ^" Z. l% n/ I$ e, I5 \3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
