JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
, a6 q0 I" n' ?2 N- i4 ^(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
" ^% S5 x$ w( c1 xand are University affiliated.

7 j0 R2 n/ T1 \8 p" b% O- f' h2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
1 Q/ c3 u9 t9 D/ t( _. Z
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
7 I/ s) L; M7 }) B2 d8 T& L1 u2 V
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

+ |$ {* a" ?/ l, S1 |9 |) q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
+ ^' {9 M$ t8 Z  p% a1 ?8 ^  H1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
, O! L, f  L; J! e: t  G8 I
' P8 s" w# O) u- N9 F2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
# o4 g: W7 y8 E% y4 g; [4 aof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
# @% ]) e: ^8 g* W/ scalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

+ X3 ^: z  R7 N1 h0 `5 W% Z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
