! l8 x& l, w. n9 [; p' m: SJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

) @6 r) N+ O3 Q; q3 `( O0 CDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

: A& s) q6 d" y1 S% V+ C$ ?9 O2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
# l/ _* i( z9 o) ]9 pof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
  y4 \/ C) H5 j' G1 R5 p/ sconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

; z2 E- B% T2 f4 h4 y+ y6 [6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
- u$ h1 g; ^- ZManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

; `1 u& E3 G. X9 r% ?. F) e# I' t2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
6 g3 F3 I$ |3 @# {6 }2 w' h. w5 t" nof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
8 e  w2 l% P* O8 j' a5 P$ N$ wcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
