( Q1 h8 f5 q6 g; e4 EJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
; S7 |% D1 V2 M(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
* n  B$ i6 n) R( O" T1 c/ M2 o, Opolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 q; y) b( ^0 e) c( P0 H' V1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
  e, O* P9 i: tand are University affiliated.
: ]( l: C) B( `! O. c
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

9 R- a7 y+ u% W; w3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

5 E" c- S9 p5 O& N  m; n6 U) l+ A4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
+ T- u) F! z6 V2 {- Mconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

+ t1 }7 c+ l; a) @7 v# z5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

0 m( s. \; q) A" ]2 M/ J- W6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
* u" Q% z- a5 U" f: H/ [- nManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

2 G# n( Y2 V( |1 J1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
+ X5 D' c! p/ H( C' S, H. b' m" c
8 J  r. Z3 h$ G: j2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

/ s7 [5 y  T$ P0 h9 K6 H3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
