JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
5 N& W5 \, |% j$ W, q(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
" a; g6 q+ u' A) X- k$ \7 kpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

: Z( @( E" _' L6 s: n; R& EDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
4 z& y" B2 m/ s/ p& Qand are University affiliated.

9 w9 D- T6 u, O( S2 ^- R2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
) q) H9 b  x, H' Mof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
6 t! K3 |# o6 {+ j6 C: m6 `/ E' K0 kconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
" q9 y. u0 l/ c4 F3 o4 E1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
5 A% n% V6 V9 t8 J
4 q5 P" Q0 K/ h9 a9 e! r4 ]2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
. p  o1 B+ k' e9 I( \calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

" n0 q2 C1 L; V* x/ U8 }8 E4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
