JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
% w$ H- s. h$ a9 g1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
$ U/ T7 S/ t4 N# Q: O+ P: N+ iand are University affiliated.

- b7 K3 L* l! `3 \2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

' o6 m% }/ Y3 r0 C$ {* [2 o. r& n3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
# f6 C7 l3 H; X- mof garbage.

+ i1 l0 Y" a0 P4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6 y& L" d, _( N5 Q6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
; i, f8 x/ j+ ^1 i- x5 q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

1 [: h- m: a3 v2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

: x# f- l/ u8 w+ O5 e3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
2 ?( c9 L+ a5 h7 ~/ H
9 v& v. s8 r' o' q- z4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

% v0 A: ^5 Y2 B3 sShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
