DOORPERSON (RATT)

+ j1 t( x% F- F9 `+ V* NJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

3 g/ o+ N' n0 ODUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
4 c8 N% A3 g, @* j8 g4 k4 ?and are University affiliated.

. u' Q* f7 D; b3 }7 A3 i2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

: H  h) m# T- s, r+ i# z/ |3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
: ]: P! u9 d4 a" V# |7 z$ Qof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

2 i! s& E5 ?# B! tQUALIFICATIONS;
( E" p$ ^3 l  n' A  _. X. f7 F; ?. @7 v1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
: }$ Q- P- C" z8 C8 M8 `2 N0 cof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
8 y7 L% l7 e0 x5 C9 Y$ `9 z2 |calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
) g# m, I6 B% u1 u
4) Must be physically capable.
9 I; w/ V1 I) k/ V
  z6 A$ x. H' z& l5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

. x/ g. s& d5 v( Y8 w6 sShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
