DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

4 w0 V4 J, `1 X2 n* h5 bDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
5 ^6 }" ]2 U+ J: Z1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

" M5 }, x& w; T/ R- p3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
: ?$ ]/ R% X$ ~of garbage.

! z6 Y; Z6 A  n; |4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
7 X# F* [- w# M% ~; a8 xconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

& T1 X% P6 {) m+ K3 A7 s& c5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
5 S9 F* z5 C+ z% b- p9 {8 parea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
  D6 V7 N8 b1 i! H# \& s& dManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1 y. F8 @- d. |; Y1 V1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
# \8 O: T. W2 I6 T! Gof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

, I0 R. N3 M# P; m, O1 p/ }; N" |3 l3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

' Q/ z7 ?3 M/ E4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
