DOORPERSON (RATT)

6 f. n% i: ~3 i3 Z) fJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

& N! S, m6 R6 }0 a3 z8 @DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
' E3 N: J% i$ `4 u0 [1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
2 x7 _6 T' C- y3 U+ a  Z. o: ?1 Uand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
0 Z% z% _, e" M6 _% }: C
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

% q1 R+ X+ G2 q8 E% k4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

9 ^# p$ E: A7 A8 }5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
$ G4 n/ L0 ]* d, C8 b9 Rarea when required.

) v) H' V+ i9 E8 l6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

1 g" P) |2 _, E, k3 I5 W3 R' p2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
6 ]3 q# T6 z9 ]% j6 Fof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
