JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

) e* d$ s# |1 }- d( [DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3 `+ D" L& e# Z+ o8 T) d1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

5 Q/ o: G( j9 n3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4 [) a: R. ~+ c- L; e4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
: Y% J+ |3 P0 ]7 E7 z5 Z% Vconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
6 k1 Z7 M0 o& T$ sManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
" {! q3 s% Y# a1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
( g( Q) r% l3 T; D3 k8 Acalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

; a8 m# R+ y+ k) x# a* E3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
