DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
5 M* ^' P; |- v, ?; k(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
6 B/ @) _+ t0 `1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
$ W6 y4 ~' ]3 z  J( f" x' O/ wand are University affiliated.
+ ~1 ^- O4 g  M3 e) u
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* i: Z) W- Y% b; T8 Sof garbage.
; Y1 H, R& j+ S0 m) P4 W5 {, h
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
$ X9 R. {6 b- t0 k1 g- t# Rarea when required.
& Y9 j& D0 `7 K1 n/ Q7 l
: H  p! d+ Y% b; M6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

: d, ~3 G' @2 V0 @  QQUALIFICATIONS;
* Y9 {1 l2 U6 R( P9 m1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

4 ~. ^+ v! e+ ^6 }: i2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
' i8 p/ P8 ]7 d# g3 Xof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
7 G, U$ x) L! Jcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

1 p8 e& [# a2 q7 J7 t& ?3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
