DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

5 b3 z0 \/ b; L0 K! s+ W3 z, FDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
2 t' d0 G" n/ K1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
; ^5 Q, K( Q: _5 Q8 I( Fand are University affiliated.
4 D( J; O' `  a7 v
. d! U4 m9 b* o+ R2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

! A! c% R) K  i' d; z, ~6 ~/ ~3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
2 [1 u* Q' _, n. W8 g4 w; K
+ ?' Z. I& l  Z  k3 g! C4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
( h1 K, x. Q) X5 h) u1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

0 O& D! i1 L. X9 Y; Q  H, ^2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
% \) Y1 t- x3 j  Oof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
4 _0 {4 y" h0 B* Y" rcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

: W; ?9 {2 N" w4 b3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
