JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
# b6 V) f# v! I7 A5 @1 L* R(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
/ \. n! b! E4 d+ upolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
* w) x) s6 R2 a2 z1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
2 ^  X) ^3 P, x1 Q- c) P
# Q$ Y$ \8 I* q; J) I3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
; L: l) D3 w* P1 D, j  u  y3 oof garbage.

/ `: x$ Y1 z2 q& y( }: f' s5 O! B4 h3 C4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
2 @* ^/ w1 u+ M% Z0 ^consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

' N$ Q2 F1 E- R( f8 L; W, q+ J5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
; f% @" V0 Q6 M! QManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

/ J' ~. P4 ~  {" u5 L) YQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
+ I6 }/ G9 r" D, c9 gof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

9 j' M* U" t' L6 u/ w3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
