DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
2 c! j. H9 K% t# ?(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
% M1 ~" {! @7 g1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

" B3 m3 m' X  W& {2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

  Q3 j* {& p; ]4 K( {) S3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
" r0 z! m4 \( T. y) D4 Uof garbage.

- N0 T  O5 S$ i# o/ O4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
& l5 W# C1 L- U5 W& _% @' J
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
3 k9 W( ~6 ?; ]" T: h( Oarea when required.

* f- e% x4 v* V' ]) F6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
# r$ `( N# q. L" A! Y! T8 T* d5 c4 V1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

* G# J/ S' O" Z% M7 W$ R7 k6 M2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

' n. k3 D* ^2 h4 h5 s) s  {5 g3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

# e! M' Y: f6 a' H/ n0 F8 e4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

1 G$ A- Y2 }& P: A0 G# pShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
