DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
' T1 O4 p/ d8 Q. f; i0 a: x, E(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
/ y2 S  K8 v; \1 W3 q0 t* Pand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

9 _2 F; T( k: \$ b( v- K0 ]* W* B3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
! {* Y* I2 u; v8 d  X) aof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
* Q7 v- @5 {! ]  g# O& U1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

' w1 B2 D4 \" P. Q% E2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
! ?3 O6 A/ r3 o* H" @of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
0 h& c1 i. F4 d% D/ N  W  lcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

; [$ a/ f8 ^' S3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

/ s9 W0 [5 s) R1 G. g" s0 L( D+ c4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
