DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
/ [7 U! }5 r! ?/ ?4 y(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! V; |* i# q: x* Y9 B9 P+ l" B* @1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
4 c2 W1 k$ s' s% H/ ~% eand are University affiliated.
2 `( I  k/ z6 O- K: y
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
4 f! I- h3 P: a* J# N) n4 Fof garbage.

5 T) c9 S" X4 |5 K0 v+ h& c4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

4 X1 q; M# m5 A9 w5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1 N, p( w  K+ Z* Z+ ?7 O% M5 x1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2 r" S6 z8 K1 h8 q1 m3 v2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

5 g0 \4 e& d& w+ l- V3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

5 |0 A; f/ h/ k4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
