DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
, `6 _* ^7 F+ A  C5 o; |* \( w(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
" K- F( Y; r2 z+ u7 m0 dand are University affiliated.
9 T" f" W: g+ K+ |& L
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
6 H7 @2 E: \% a& bof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
" g; n9 w6 O& U# ~3 O. Y! lconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5 w3 V3 M7 o6 g: L' W2 X5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
0 d$ _" M. \2 t# R" iManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
- J/ L. l3 G  ~4 H- J+ zof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

) R9 x7 |& I. c0 e3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
