DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
( ~- A. [% r# }2 y: F$ E(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
9 E5 o* Z' [( `4 s" j1 Fpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
; M% J* R6 C$ M9 f& _+ B+ dand are University affiliated.
# H$ o2 v' f& m* s
' u2 Y6 t5 d  _/ M& c. [2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
5 A' ?) i. K! I
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
( s& d, T; U1 x5 [- `& i- N% W. J1 Nconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

+ H) J4 T, P5 j* i6 e& a8 f5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
6 C, h. a* J9 E- larea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
& K% \$ U2 f+ {+ \6 {Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
1 }( \& i( f, `; U
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
/ X! V; C: I' a- h& k2 T+ r% M6 ycalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

8 X1 O; @$ E4 E1 d; I3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
