JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
% ?9 P) m: T, V9 m. G4 ^(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
, @2 w( Z1 |7 W7 t: jpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% K" o) }; N/ E5 Z) @# S. uDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; o: W2 q+ m9 M2 e* y9 A" Z6 E7 B9 a1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
" q+ q( p  B8 n! V- X. sand are University affiliated.
7 g; Z+ X6 l2 @1 G' q6 v7 g
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
/ o$ ^* g8 R" P) x7 a" xconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

9 a: Q+ a( I- [" B/ N2 j- N5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

7 ~4 n/ \! f) E% o1 y$ @5 H2 l# p1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
+ W* C, h1 |& Q- G/ E8 y
3 E+ e4 ]. Q: `! G5 O( L& K2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
! M+ r6 V* C' y! n. D+ Uof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
5 _- w% V/ X" F+ ?# vcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

  b% k& G5 }( @% `% e. R) p3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
0 E, l1 D0 z  A7 b  qpublic.
