DOORPERSON (RATT)

  x1 x. c6 u9 b$ i7 s6 `JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
, o/ G) r5 e, R0 k& @(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
; n$ t# h" D& {0 l; ~2 cpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

' ~& [: X% ]7 u. a  ?DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
  x/ w: a& x4 m* h) Z  O! h, Band are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
6 U6 j: W: f# o5 {) nof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
* D' D4 j2 v! p. |7 L) Y( ?/ qconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
( b4 U0 M" d9 H# A3 Q, ]area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

  o5 M/ o% a5 m4 f7 i" DQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

! W5 I* b# G8 _7 V2 Q1 |2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
6 F* L9 T2 @9 t0 Qof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
7 ~' Q) s/ j# ]% W* R2 w% ^calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
5 c+ G1 c! M! x
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

% \3 j! b" c: c; m* m% _6 _- rShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
