DOORPERSON (RATT)

) Y  R* j$ @$ CJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
* l4 |$ B# y% G- t* K$ bpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

+ q4 G8 B3 h" ]' X! c' qDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
- n. ~+ y& W2 e* i% M9 land are University affiliated.

6 ^  i9 Y5 O( V2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
% G6 g4 z' a5 `" ?9 s+ [
1 `) |* G5 J/ e* x- ^& j4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

9 d! ^% P/ t# I! L5 U# P5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
  N$ O' b7 S1 ]4 N3 Y* [, UManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

2 m1 O1 N& H$ T8 R; kQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
* Y) t/ V' P; v$ R8 rof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
) p7 |) O" \$ B0 k) R7 {. i7 E0 Icalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

9 Y6 v. G5 t8 r3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

2 l2 v6 X4 b9 i4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

5 V- `/ @& p& H( b& N; rShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
