DOORPERSON (RATT)

7 z5 E, b' S. J4 q  YJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

# |8 u) U5 F, G$ j) W8 QDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
  o6 n4 ]3 F8 w1 O# }  |
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
' ^1 o/ _& C1 Z* C9 A& |of garbage.

: z9 q5 G& c6 m0 y3 O  n/ {4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
4 x+ q# q  K& aconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
/ n$ y9 a/ O1 X2 U+ C; Q5 P4 @Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
. C8 V# e, I* V* W5 _1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

% F5 \$ I' r1 n: ^+ Y5 F+ S. J* d2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
5 Q, ]. X9 U3 f: {8 k& lof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
) i8 M9 w# f' Wcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
! C% u$ v, C" f' [1 `
- O! h6 ?0 V- W7 [) [% t3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
