DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
0 H' [: n' a% n$ p7 a3 m8 H0 m+ lpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

" F( E9 n; S5 M. H/ DDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
! a! n. Y2 S8 W" I* N- ?1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
  O  m5 v/ A# V. P1 Q
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
; j- G: C! J1 G( L
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
" |1 `5 F- _% y+ Iof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
0 [7 m2 g* b+ K: l0 Larea when required.

; S2 U7 J5 }$ s& R2 r9 H* K; `+ \. t6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2 z1 Z# v% P4 f4 }8 Y4 t' D) [2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
* O, ~  k3 i+ i( ?; Fof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
! V7 D: f; O! Mcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
! l, o$ j2 q3 T( E
9 v: G* Q  O0 N0 g6 i3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

2 h1 V3 E5 p/ C% y1 v* d9 h( c( b. }4) Must be physically capable.

+ {# f- a2 X# k. n5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
