DOORPERSON (RATT)

2 ]4 X$ B& U( C' s) PJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

* \* T$ x0 w( S: k( O0 l& g) E2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

$ Y7 z) e/ q' u1 G3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

! z" ^0 X+ \* j: f( g! [4 H4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
$ B6 e9 g* g# c* A9 M- @
0 s' V) i5 h. j2 Q5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
( @# l0 M& X7 I  N! }' Z& Aarea when required.

; P: A* g5 ?" W6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
' ]2 U4 M: l8 Q; a; dManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

3 i# `% {* D- t5 NQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
# s5 H2 s: S! C% D& T+ v* _
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
8 |+ @" f& S6 I& x! W7 Lof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
5 j' x" ~: C! G! L5 Z% Y5 ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

2 M0 t/ Q$ `4 E4) Must be physically capable.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

: C+ Q/ n% v' u( b. _1 F; wShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
