DOORPERSON (RATT)

2 E! {, I+ F9 _7 ?JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
0 d/ h& p5 K$ F4 u. J& o(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
' `2 i$ S3 L5 Jpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

% D+ a1 C3 v3 G% v3 C; ]0 m& `- I2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* I! [3 W7 W: i% {$ a& zof garbage.

( l- @$ d! M% S$ v+ i4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
" x3 R! W: Z7 \* v; _# wconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
) v- J$ x* |' t  ]% x
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
% D& O" a. k" H- [: Harea when required.
# m) {8 ^0 e  n! [5 O4 K1 _* g+ G
6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

. }$ z* |1 s+ C' l7 HQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
3 E+ u$ C+ }# c) n' d. O$ {6 zcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
+ O9 X* C4 J& o7 G/ Jpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
