DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3 I+ Q/ {( t& D* p* K1 t1 P1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

" Q1 f8 w1 b& F: ]9 T% b+ N& j2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

" b* h0 @' K+ k: W& ~3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

0 [1 A; B) z5 e5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

" G! Q5 S2 w3 X6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

5 F% _' @4 B4 k4 K1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
) M% H- G$ F% {0 _of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

+ F" p# Y0 {3 gShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
