JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

0 j+ R$ M5 L  W1 |% z  bDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
3 a  }! O6 K# E1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
. U. i+ E# X$ q  g, {) K; t5 uand are University affiliated.
2 Z# S( d$ j+ M3 N3 p7 {: u$ `: W4 o
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
6 `0 |) q6 O5 X  k) C4 a& k1 b4 R
5 A- Q( D; m$ M2 V  ?7 x) D6 ^4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
  H8 z& c. W! _2 D9 g& lconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

. U% E/ _( q8 e5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
. o4 b9 U1 ^/ j& U# \of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

) E" j, p: J7 M( m4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
