% ~& o  y. g9 D# M7 U, KJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
# D, u& L" V% F(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
- J$ y) d4 z1 f5 H) E% D. p  @) hpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

) K9 Z9 w, v7 w1 m( PDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
/ h* Q0 F& s4 ~' S1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2 a& `2 _6 |0 p2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
; U: @0 K6 }$ [* B0 Z% [1 b
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
* e0 w- l+ {4 P' s- A  Xof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

3 n+ n  S4 K5 s1 H6 m. E% N5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
8 e5 }* _4 j: K* h% j( `; N1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.
7 j& S1 u1 |2 F" T/ P
2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
% N* S4 A/ ?! Y$ K6 ?of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

! {1 ^1 @+ v# m$ F7 {% F9 f" {# ^3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

1 S  B- m! q5 xShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
