DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
$ P# B3 k9 F" v* a4 k9 F1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

5 h! f) v: q6 M; F7 [  N! l3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
* M$ C1 `1 p6 a" k: O* w" e* U: u: Q4 W
: o4 [! j, v- ~4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

9 q+ K, ]: J# v; N5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
) u& `/ j* `) G- F# }1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
  u7 c' u% r9 Rcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.
