; I) j6 q, r* {: a& r4 L3 AJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
) Z1 J: }  C5 Ipolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.
' {1 s/ p1 h( t2 Y! E8 ^2 C
; f3 d) l5 Z  pDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
* `6 f7 T! H$ h! l
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

  n9 k& h/ k! p7 ?: U3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
" b* p# q% R! d" c: x$ e7 f
* G- u; p$ g; F% z4 l# {4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

$ b& E$ t& {3 Y7 Y( K5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
1 _5 X: Y1 T9 Karea when required.

+ n9 \0 l+ k; E) a" L6 e* R2 `* J6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
  W( G$ Y9 O; L% S' n% XManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
( m$ i" v0 q+ p& b% `  Q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
6 ~1 u0 e7 n0 b% _3 R0 p2 Ecalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
, T( }6 s; X8 ]& B( X
1 ]8 m; h4 ~* {7 B( p/ Z3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
; r+ X( v% {: `- O7 o& ?public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
