JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
- o6 c0 l, @* ~3 q/ y+ ?# p(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
2 ^! m# i, T6 f- c7 H1 \2 V5 ppolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

* [  D# E5 [1 r; y1 c9 \& `DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
4 i; W. s0 g" G* R5 Iand are University affiliated.
/ k! w% ?4 ~3 V( c: o: M" ?5 x
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
4 a# F% r: D# h+ Y  o1 ]of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
8 C1 t' S) z$ Z' e5 _  |consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
. s/ V" A/ v* `' d$ |area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

0 \8 h2 K( c  y; F4 d7 o9 n% ^QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

! C: ]2 N. L5 Z+ h3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

2 r0 ]: _7 q7 J' P4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
7 W8 y4 T3 W2 N- Q& x, i( d9 xpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

/ y/ n' g/ z! M( E: r  wShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
