DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
. c, b$ J$ s( ]9 S0 S/ H3 f(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
8 Z8 o6 F( _& }, ?, |6 ~3 X1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

" }' ~0 C8 w, w' ^! p2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
6 d. E5 f) g6 {" k) n" Lof garbage.
& u( a) H* s6 P4 L$ q; R
" ^5 ^4 R5 f" n9 ^- r+ |& u4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
3 f- \* y6 H3 L# j- W1 R# Rconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
& Q* a5 _8 a  S2 P" ?, \/ `Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
/ V8 x9 X) ?7 H& A1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
3 q& A9 F2 T# g. [0 a  V: Jof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
. ^" K( M0 o# c' k7 Wcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

2 J2 j# N% p. p, `9 Q3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
% V4 ?/ G4 ]8 t- T. {: d. s
# Z! B' {+ y9 a4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
