; l4 u! |' y6 _# l1 L: ~0 eJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
2 r0 x8 ^- y6 y( ^; Q2 R2 g* d6 m! t(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

& v3 z) W" E* \$ \# j) O/ F' {DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

3 l" a  A& }3 l5 Y2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

0 h  v9 h. [- `& R# d4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

5 q1 ]- j( ?4 B  D- I6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
" ~# O+ r/ a2 |  \, a1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

) T: @9 ~7 I- G/ c& D% Z8 U$ J2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
5 b. V6 Y4 W- Jcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

5 O, K$ Q# c9 k+ t+ f3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

+ s7 f( o9 \- e3 H! d4) Must be physically capable.

  q% ]- S" R  e4 e5 R5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
