DOORPERSON (RATT)

( M7 I% \' U1 [* L' F: p% n, zJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
% Q/ b2 U# G& m: I" K(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
( d/ e* `7 H5 D; c( qpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
. S. R: S6 Z. ^) @& F( ?and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

* P+ `' A6 X9 O1 e3 s' X" X3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
, L$ f; `" c. \: Z+ h1 Xof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
/ y  o6 [; d5 z8 t! w& Econsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

9 I% o$ I7 N$ TQUALIFICATIONS;
7 w- H1 M4 z- Q1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
/ ^1 C) O6 q& I3 z/ _9 C- ^calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
! M7 ^3 Y0 _+ i) h+ \: x1 Kpublic.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
