DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
( Z4 b7 ]- `& h+ B( I(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
* Y. T' }4 g' r, m- Y/ o8 Apolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
$ T$ X1 t4 c( R/ D, d& V1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

8 i- M$ S& O7 W: a) Q2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
- O7 N# F8 ]3 R) r
% M8 V8 W" Z% Z' C& Q2 z/ g3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

: ?9 h0 I) [4 ^' Q: ~" X6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

& K' ?' ~  r, V: ^+ B" u* RQUALIFICATIONS;
4 ]& E; B, S% f0 l, Z4 }" X1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
3 W/ f6 t' O/ u# Nof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
! t3 Y1 y# N$ O" Q" D9 p# d! V
: b7 u& r, _) _3 b; O$ r4 I4) Must be physically capable.

" @0 N. Z& s( t( D$ L5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

$ e4 p; p9 `9 B, jShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
