DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
) H* [' f0 Q  tpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

/ k! ~& h2 n' f. _; ]8 R8 vDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
9 M$ o  y: ~. x% H1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.
7 ~1 q4 N* }+ B9 t6 u' D; N/ |
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
) i7 k. X/ U5 Y/ r8 U
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
! |) X8 W1 ~4 l2 k4 oof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
3 e; V3 C! R; m% B* X% K' ^  @consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

* j, H- A( S' b$ Y6 l5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
8 [( `* \! I- Zarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

6 _" _1 o; v" t) R- x+ ^QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
, M5 N" c9 l  n' q6 p) Uof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
# l  b: f& K' d2 o( E8 u8 icalmly under extremely stressful conditions.
% `: s9 H! _. W; v. ?. e/ L) s' |- H
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
