DOORPERSON (RATT)

4 I% D4 Z0 z0 D& OJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

/ i4 j7 y" y8 E0 S, b- a2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
% u* V/ I5 }. U& f6 _1 I( W3 Tof garbage.

! r: h% V! q+ y! R4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
* }! \$ }' B/ g# F% u" Oarea when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

' Y' ^$ n1 O6 FQUALIFICATIONS;
+ q* D# i0 a3 g4 a/ c0 S4 n8 q' S1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
7 d& u/ E( ~% Z( j& }0 w1 n, m* }& {of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
7 m# V8 i2 p. ~' {% R0 Scalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

. }  J6 i  z' S- E9 k3 j* _  h; E4) Must be physically capable.

9 a( [5 L# d! z' C5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

& W- S; a* b+ P6 C3 vShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
