DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
4 ~; @  d' p0 s) n9 t; }(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
8 n9 l9 B1 b5 c0 G  C! Cand are University affiliated.
) H6 r( T4 J0 p/ |: t8 m
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

2 J& S& c/ z, y& y' ]$ y5 I3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

; i: R9 g$ N. C! Q4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

0 t7 D' R/ g; S$ \% h: G5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

) F0 ~* q  I4 ^0 O' a8 Q* c6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
$ Y/ P5 \0 C. m5 p& G/ `. qManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

, `' n) y; L! }. O: b3 a2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

  W8 c! _" }' z# w' q7 c3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
