* e% x& Y( k) @1 j1 ], RJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

8 u3 j( W7 [# zDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
; j- Z* @# T+ M. v' M1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
7 H4 e+ N! g0 k6 W& E; M1 P( land are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
+ R6 b1 l9 v, l. a& b
& Y1 t* h! i' z+ b$ d7 Y3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

2 b9 ~9 ]+ o3 Y( O5 E$ o4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
% P# w1 v$ B& O
0 N4 _- W2 B' A# p% t# D/ W5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

9 m6 z4 s0 `) _3 F, }* \% iQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
- x9 L+ z6 d& t( Z  v* ^of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

, X' I0 S/ n& |# \8 K5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities
