JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
( M1 ~8 b% X( T' |% u(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
6 E0 ]  }2 [7 y% s! h' f" A& A6 [3 Wpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
: p0 m; ~, j8 r- y' @' Q% Q1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

. z. ]; X7 y7 s2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3 o  [+ B% F4 f% c% u1 V$ z* G3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
- O2 X& x& j: \  q8 S6 v! Xof garbage.

) b; A% n2 c1 p6 i; Y4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
3 E4 B. F! w  F6 uconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

$ ^: X3 M9 s* y$ X7 _, J& a" L' w) g2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

5 G: `5 r3 d% d6 n( P0 {: e3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
3 U1 p: g8 ^- _8 V6 |, X; ~0 S9 }( G
4) Must be physically capable.

8 ~7 k, _% m8 `8 N* J; p3 B' J5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
