9 {, X# l/ M* N7 }, gJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
& f' Y1 q6 @' t+ K' ?8 p9 ]policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
" Y7 I  V- \" ~* _% Vand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
! g7 P7 y5 `2 [" `1 X6 Fof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
) U& [' N) G. k9 `* E) x! G, Oconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

9 s9 O- n; v# l( a$ z' }2 G6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
" w, e) J" E  N/ gManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

% s8 c- y5 J# y- `8 j% P2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
/ n1 f1 y( `6 q! u4 d; k4 s1 R/ ]of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

7 V+ R4 d: G1 k' Q$ v+ ?3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

, c. a4 g. W! ]2 K3 [5 }5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
) O! E- {  I& ?; x$ Wpublic.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
