DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

% i. x: v3 C! i) U2 v. C3 ]1 GDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

7 l% t7 v# v4 a# F# l8 t3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

" Y5 h* F: u: A5 Y9 `% ?4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.
! T# }8 q' L! @9 z  {" O
5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
' t2 g) K1 Y1 j" L( w, T) marea when required.

2 Z! o  {9 O5 ?/ t/ T6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations

QUALIFICATIONS;
/ h% w+ g! F8 l% m3 N" }$ B1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
* I5 F1 u. n3 ], s9 r' x; X) pof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
) Q4 B" `& V7 `8 l# g5 a! ocalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

! F. H8 n7 s& O) q3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
