" g4 ]! a8 z( m/ y. s8 }6 FJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
  U/ |0 Y: w+ I6 S6 S* cpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
, |+ ^0 Q1 j4 z) w0 k, r3 F6 s! Dand are University affiliated.
: t8 E8 B2 f5 v$ M: s
9 J3 |" l6 H' a2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
6 S  A$ c) {' A9 Sof garbage.

* R. u- U' H- h( U4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
' N; ?; N4 e) nconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

3 x9 a; v, k! H0 u# K/ f" l0 U5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

# L# e5 U; j# u- R: X6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
0 ^! h. ]4 Z. u3 _Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
& \( d# E8 D" }! C# ^# K0 Tcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

, p# d8 ], G9 j# p3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.
+ E* y2 D7 X2 X! {1 X
4 t% h0 ]6 {% M% \  }1 R4) Must be physically capable.

5 G2 u) O: Z, R5 \$ A5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
