DOORPERSON (RATT)

; R7 u! P$ N' _  ^' K8 @, M% f+ Z2 jJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
7 v8 o3 E0 B3 T+ h(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
& ]# t" p; P0 [# M' s  d! Rpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
3 N: M% d& {! d$ }& R5 w) band are University affiliated.
& t& @# f0 K1 B0 _2 P2 f
2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

4 @7 ~' H; k; S9 R4 C& ?3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
0 o: O- A6 `& l7 E/ Cof garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

' B5 i3 v0 T0 c+ W8 t- R5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

' N+ r( ~: }& n6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
* ?4 `& h4 j: N9 n: C8 LManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

0 ]+ z) _6 W- [$ zQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

3 W0 A/ D5 P' |$ ^( h7 u2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
; @. T1 p: O! hof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
9 w, y* _4 Y* ^( W" Q+ L7 Gcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

! l: P% ]" Q* T) K$ @4) Must be physically capable.
+ u7 j- Q8 p( T" ]7 U  ]
5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general
