DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
; x7 q$ A2 {/ Npolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
, X+ a% a* w& Zand are University affiliated.

2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
/ H# [5 C& a, H% I6 h: B: G
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
6 s; f5 V+ p5 a; y* f6 P, fconsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

: d& ^3 R# q  @9 f$ q; X5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
& ?) p& H8 g) j+ v7 Jarea when required.

Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

1 I3 V; A7 Z) ~: d1 D. V2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
; f  _3 h" M* w# Uof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
" n( P7 \( z. ^calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

# Y6 {# g; a1 J* L( m3 m6 c3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

public.

Shift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
