DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
0 v( D6 d% u: W! w(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
7 k3 |" s. s3 Jpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

5 {( c+ C( ^8 H5 d9 ~8 S3 cDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1 e$ ]7 [. ?5 G! `- ]/ e1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

, J4 t' m# x8 B( l/ k2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.
) D% I, z$ }& d: w( [2 i3 k
3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.
  f( o5 F7 z! n' `2 h' G
4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
6 [" \, F' `' t! T6 ~0 i# H/ Zarea when required.

0 ~! z. J; g$ |4 z- t6 e6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
/ p9 Y, P( F" U  FManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

' X9 b; a  k2 H6 D4 a  RQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
# g3 ]. O7 x" L  s! W9 jcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

9 i  r& r  f9 I4) Must be physically capable.

' W/ b5 S! {5 X- {5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
public.
