DOORPERSON (RATT)

+ _& U9 l) l  h! q* UJOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
" ]: W4 [  m& f* i7 C9 p* }# d& _(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
" v5 K+ \; @7 h4 s; D- O) Y& ^policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

! \# M$ R$ `, j0 p# a& [. ~  C2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

# V4 L2 H9 I" f) W; G1 h3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
9 B/ `& n9 v0 R# d5 w+ U9 Zof garbage.
! d0 W1 Z7 t: h3 |# ], F# K* |, o
" U4 J6 V: `* F) p4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
! w& T# b7 h: n; x" J- r1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

' P$ P2 `- B1 U, g1 x. E. w2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
: |* l% p9 v3 C8 Pcalmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

public.
