DOORPERSON (RATT)

JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
" [$ G& g( T1 z3 f& y(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
& \: M% Q6 Z' g, v6 A& c" q( lpolicies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
& ]7 O8 `5 W! k) A' \0 u: X2 ~" v0 `" j1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

- f9 B1 W9 D9 p" e0 R2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

$ g1 k0 W3 U4 s5 h9 Z4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
. {2 v% E9 @) c' I- S9 d8 Econsumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

' ~2 o2 Q% @+ D. L" _6 o5 T5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service  
area when required.

6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
Manager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

  S( Q  l6 e* RQUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

' ~; ]4 @: w! H* _2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
7 N, }2 q  }& D; k* O/ ~of patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
calmly under extremely stressful conditions.
( S1 c' g4 `2 }$ N* Y( b
3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Must be physically capable.

Wage: $7.73/hour + gratuities

7 L4 ~6 U: u6 c6 xShift: 6 - 12 hours per week, 7pm - 1am Fridays and Saturdays
