DOORPERSON (RATT)

& W2 R  T5 i6 |JOB SUMMARY: The Doorperson is responsible to the Operations Manager
(s) (RATT) and will enforce AGLC regulations and Students' Union/RATT  
policies.  Protects patrons, staff and property of the Students´ Union.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1) Check identification to ensure patrons are of legal drinking age  
and are University affiliated.

' f/ x! m9 r8 _* N7 |6 L2) Crowd control, ensuring maximum occupant load is not exceeded.

3) Assists servers with bussing tables and keeping floor areas free  
of garbage.

! M4 v) I5 Z8 f4) Patrols the area observing patron behavior, preventing over-
consumption of alcohol,  altercations, theft and vandalism.

5) Assists bartenders by stocking supplies and monitoring bar service

' s' E% Q, ]9 T% t3 U$ L! C6 M6) Perform other job-related duties as required by the Operations  
1 O6 T9 H8 g0 r6 W0 r9 U% mManager(s), Senior Operations Manager and Senior Manager.

QUALIFICATIONS;
1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent.

& ?' I5 u9 D0 g( ~6 `+ d8 ]2) Ability to deal appropriately and effectively with a large variety  
2 t( x8 E+ M+ y6 ?5 G# Aof patrons and/or possible negative situations.  To be able to work  
# {* y7 `4 a9 y: A9 ]) ]calmly under extremely stressful conditions.

3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

/ ]1 N* r" p( W2 S! t0 S4) Must be physically capable.

5) Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and the general  
9 m1 I# s9 m. R' apublic.
