Operating Assistant-SUBtitles (Permanent and Fulltime)

JOB SUMMARY:  Reporting to and under the supervision of the Senior  
. g% P# v! N3 s* W' S5 A# nOperations Manager-Retail and the Operations Manager-Retail, the  
( C$ s/ \: l  Z; U  yfulltime Operating Assistant-SUBtitles is responsible for the  
( ?- }* @* O7 A2 z1 i* Ieffective operation of SUBtitles in the absence of the manager(s).

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
Retail in the training of part time staff

, n. \! W6 i# D" C- J5 {2)             Responsible for supervising part time staff and  
ensuring that staff are fulfilling job requirements
$ A. t. }& S6 o; ~6 u0 c
3)             Responsible for assisting the Operations Manager-
1 d+ U8 }1 ^8 ~5 B$ ARetail with cashing out and ensuring that floats are secured

4)             Capable and willing to work in all areas while working  
& ~: ~! v0 o, C) f3 evarious shifts as per store hours

% F9 L7 o; n1 T+ e( p5)             Responsible for determining needs and finalizing  
& z7 O$ a8 q9 @8 ~orders for external custom order clients
& k* A# k9 ?; @4 p1 Z
4 S) ^9 L( H- j' @. ?6)             Responsible for the accuracy of month end inventory  
counts

7)             Provide a high level of customer service

2 o' ?1 |* p( Z8)             Responsible for ensuring that databases are kept up to  
date with regards to consignment data

9)             Perform other job related duties, in SUBtitles and  
) E+ e# i9 G& h' G3 fSUBmart, as required by the Senior Operations Manager-Retail and the  
Operations Manager-Retail

QUALIFICATIONS;
1)             Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent

$ _& F1 r2 g) m# S& t4 g2)             Post secondary education would be an asset
. O% E9 \- f( F& _5 s2 ]/ ?. d
3)             Previous supervisory experience would be an asset
1 a/ R7 Y+ @7 H6 i: \4 r! b
4)             Strong organizational skills

* `" `. d9 v" X; ^* u5)             High level of creativity, initiative and attention to  
detail

6)             Knowledge of computer operations

( g  ^5 s* a' I& P5 v2 K. |7)             Ability to work accurately and efficiently in a  
! U8 X2 l0 N3 A+ {variety of areas

6 S; C5 o; @4 l7 Q. y+ [8)             Ability to deal effectively with staff, students and  
the general public
