ECBEA was approached by the Asian Chinese Opera Association to announce

award

The Asian Chinese Opera Association and the Hong Kong SingFai Opera
Association (Children Div.) is putting together an Opera performance at
SUB
theatre, U of Alberta, Jul. 21, Sat. at 1-4 pm.  The casts are led by 2

! s) c# ^* n9 o1 u2 e9 x' kinstructors - Lau Wai Ming and Fong Suet Ying, both are Champions of

Cantonse Opera Contest in Hong Kong and was awarded outstanding

in Arts Education in the teacher category by the Hong Kong Arts

6 D: ?. A" c0 D+ n: ACouncil.  Children cast members are ranging from 6 - 15 years old.  The

performance will be done in English with Chinese operatic music; plus a
few
songs in well-known Cantonese Opera... The performance was done to
