Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

& C6 M7 d9 C/ e" YBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and0 a7 O B0 _4 E; y8 \' G
work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
. o, R. i4 c" Q( p( R rprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.- `! [6 d6 { r7 L4 E1 _& }
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
; D# g+ t9 K# }1 Q0 m) ]artist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
: ~( C4 T0 A2 X" v% Q+ fEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
. M2 [ ?" d7 X) C$ P/ }visitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the, w; S8 [3 |, O1 O- F1 ?. i e- H @
recyclables.1 p1 b) W' M2 z+ j7 J
Front of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
" N- E _7 J2 W- Upart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening./ y5 d, G8 b% x) d6 c" \! { s% p
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing! Y' k; U* ~. m; d9 h( b
them with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late
2 |! U9 V9 h1 o# f+ a" \hours are part of this crew’s duties.
4 X" n& h8 A6 A$ K3 q+ dInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
, j' T, H$ v! qfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide" C1 s2 X6 n) R1 y1 k
programs to visitors to the festival.
. _$ U; s9 O4 M0 @Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for+ ~9 x$ f4 Y! D0 v" t
everyone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
/ |$ D) }6 s# Y+ ^0 @4 OOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed5 v- Q9 A+ V: C+ y
events and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
, o5 F/ P% _& wfestival.
" a" W9 a. ^) a2 S5 pSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is5 Q& A0 u) e3 O# |) Z# K
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you
" u) P8 S6 X- u4 S _are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
4 l1 @, Q: s8 g# `6 ~8 mStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training4 Z$ d1 l! ]. S
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
/ f& G+ c; H% t& b- {Transportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be
6 t. e9 \# `5 frequired), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as
3 k8 a% n( q1 @# d# s8 Qairport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival3 F* c3 C; v2 h
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
