Audience Services: Provides information, aid and security on the site for everyone participating in the

( d* r$ O6 q a; f" N) \/ z8 R# B' GBe Your Own Busker (ATB Big Top): Work with creative people who will teach patrons to juggle and
9 C, N6 O6 K' Z% R) ]) \work the Diablo, play in a band and lots of other fun stuff. Duties include, helping at artist circles, craft
- e& H9 b. l& U) t# L& Lprep, door person, stagehand, and clean up.# k. ?3 a$ K* X( ?" V
Chalk Chics: Festival goers will be asked to participate in chalk drawings. Volunteers will be helping the
. s/ t8 g9 q4 i. j: w) nartist by providing whatever support is needed for this activity. More details to come.
6 k; A2 t% P& U4 w# X0 f6 OEnvironment: We need lots of volunteers to help ensure that the Square is kept looking beautiful for
5 \: U" P6 g; o6 _5 Q2 l7 dvisitors to the festival. We provide equipment and materials to help you dispose of garbage and sort the+ Z( S, ^7 l; D& a* H& l
recyclables.
* ^5 F$ X5 T6 j! Z- \ W' \5 q" FFront of House: If you are well organized, like people, and can handle line up control and questions, be
{% `/ h# g& C* J2 B$ @8 bpart of the door crew for our three indoor theatre events. You must be able to work late into the evening.& f& S# `+ F/ L1 V! X
Hospitality: The volunteers are off site in the host hotel looking after our artists and guests by providing
/ b A( c, Q3 s5 sthem with delicious meals, snacks and beverages in the Hospitality Suite. Some heavy lifting and late/ h- x+ `6 P& ^( n
hours are part of this crew’s duties.
! i H- B8 L: r# d9 PInformation: Inside the Info trailer, volunteers on this crew know everything there is to know about the
, V+ ?0 w5 C _: Wfestival - who, what, when where and how is their business. They also sell merchandise and provide- z9 ~' r2 v/ j
programs to visitors to the festival.3 q( N3 u2 n+ Q, p2 k0 w0 l
Kids’ World: Enjoy some time entertaining the wee folks. Activities and games will be provided for
# Z; g- Q3 r1 w6 D* Y1 W# geveryone coming to this area. Help our creative coordinators make this place an enjoyable experience.
2 ^" C3 u0 A0 I+ A( e6 m* s: EOffice: Duties will include answering telephone inquiries about the festival, selling seats to the ticketed
& M! `% c8 Z! K& e+ cevents and general office duties. Volunteers must have a good telephone manner and knowledge of the
/ }( w& ^0 t/ y" t5 O1 Lfestival.
a3 P$ y7 f# P7 z4 dSite: Volunteers will help our Production manager and his assistant make sure all that the physical site is0 N8 k- P( _, z3 u& j. f( T
operating smoothly. From erecting tents to flying banners and putting up fencing, it is important that you# {: X" }/ P0 [' I6 r
are physically fit and ready for any emergency.
& ~& R; ?8 e) B/ T7 gStage: All volunteers who are helping with any theatrical productions must have some previous training, ^$ x" U4 S7 D8 K5 P
and/or understanding of back stage procedures.
- Z' k3 w. i( Z8 g7 oTransportation: Volunteers 25 years of age with a clean driving license, (driver’s abstract will be$ U1 \6 E% O. ^- `0 X$ F- C
required), will be asked to drive artists to and from various performance locations in the city as well as& o8 o6 F+ Y% T T9 q2 w( I9 m
airport arrivals and departures. Other duties include day to day pick ups and deliveries that the festival t9 x8 x5 }( j6 |/ b* z! H/ ]0 [
staff and artists may require. A good knowledge of the city is required. |
