This is a long term posting with the successful applicants being called to fill positions on an ‘as-required’ basis.3 r8 s0 g6 u. ?) {

FUNCTIONS:
3 I) h$ ]7 }* a1 s• Transport passengers to and from destinations on prescribed scheduled routes.

• Respond to customer queries concerning transit information.9 n1 ?, }, }7 C$ D: @4 }; U/ [( ]9 a
• Operate a Transit diesel bus and/or trolley coach, on a day, night or split shift under varying weather

• Grade eleven (11) or an equivalent educational level is required. Formal training in driving or public relations will be considered an asset.. k/ [. V. ]- V, t* y

to be diplomatic and courteous in dealing with the public, from the first passenger to the last passenger

• Applicant must possess a valid class 5 Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's license (non-probationary and non-graduated) and must have held a valid operator's license for (3) consecutive years.: ]3 T! H1 U7 _& R- m! a
• Selected applicants must pass the Alberta Motor Vehicle Operator's class 2 written test, at their own expense, prior to training.

showing no suspensions and no more than 3 demerits recorded over the previous 2 year period.

• Internal ETS applicants must have completed all mandatory in-house training.

Various hours of shift work (straight or split shift), any time of the day, any 5 days of the week , G+ S/ d* w3 a, y; g8 k
1st year: Guaranteed minimum 67.4 hours bi-weekly, H" E+ b& g1 A
Thereafter: Guaranteed minimum 74 hours biweekly

SALARY RANGE: 401, Salary Grade: 004

Post Training Rate: $20.36 - $25.45 Hourly/ y2 F( n/ p0 Y( `- I% O
