Alberta Finance, Edmonton – Do you have the unique combination of investment knowledge and formal IT training that
we’re looking for? The Operations Section within Investment Administration Division requires a highly skilled data
management administrator to support our Data Hub application and the move to a data-centric information model.

0 {; z* X6 I( R" U& I6 {4 [& l3 xInvestment Administration Division provides comprehensive back-office support services for Alberta Investment
# s: ]7 D% U) _, iManagement and various other government departments and agencies encompassing assets under management in excess
of $70billion. As the Data Hub Administrator, you will utilize your strong analytical, problem-solving and decision-
making skills to perform ongoing assessments and reviews to validate HUB data. Based on your assessments, you will
) [2 ~) y6 d* Z% H6 kcoordinate the release and distribution of HUB data reports each day to various end users and clients. As our Data HUB
+ N7 O8 R! d8 \6 xevolves through several phases, clients will expect you to keep pace with all new developments.

' u) `! t( h& v1 {3 F/ t) I( P9 `Data management activities are characterized by due diligence and a meticulous attention to detail, ensuring that HUB
3 Z9 k2 u3 B4 v# vreferential data is complete, accurate and accessible on a timely basis. To expedite HUB database readiness, flexible hours
of work with an early start time will be a requirement of the position. A special work hour provision applies with a
daily start time in the range of 4:00am to 6:00 am, commencing after initial training is completed.

  S0 H5 Q8 M+ e: V2 v; D  pQualifications – Completion of a diploma in Computing Science supplemented by 4 years progressively responsible data
) g4 H- ^2 _, Q* o* _0 i: hmanagement experience. Finance and/or investment knowledge is preferred. The ideal candidate will have formal
: R, z4 }- l+ U6 d4 n- Xeducation in Computing and Finance. Completion of the Canadian Securities Course and some familiarity with SQL
would be considered assets. Equivalencies will be considered.
