Job Summary:
1 V0 x( E K. b3 o# {The Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.8 |$ ~3 {7 I( T }6 r

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials( k) v& V2 h6 h" k, y; \: P: {
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials: U* I6 L3 B6 H& _. n
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
7 k; C7 @3 T3 |" A/ \Must be able to work safely at all times
" W& g7 L |- {3 b0 ABe able to effectively perform tasks independently
; s" M2 e3 g; h. LPerforms routine housekeeping.

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
