Job Summary:
4 {9 z+ S8 r! q/ K: ^$ tThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.2 U' D9 ~9 D" x$ ?* G

Job Responsibilities:

( q$ w, s# d: T Q- M' bMust be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials% N1 b" v z9 H" [3 g
Inspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials- r% B! H/ v# v$ W( B# r
Loads and unloads non-ferrous material
& E+ Q. \- Y/ V+ s# |/ U% w3 ZMust be able to work safely at all times
# I6 j0 ^8 @3 d/ k* KBe able to effectively perform tasks independently9 o" i- u) S( f8 c
Performs routine housekeeping.

Experience stripping equipment and/or with manual material sorting1 [. q3 g$ Z! e
Knowledge of non-ferrous processing

Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
