) |: f( X: G8 t- Q6 \! c& ~; m5 S7 B1 aThe Non-ferrous laborer must be able to properly identify and sort non-ferrous metals. Applies knowledge of non-ferrous metals to properly identify materials when interacting with customers. Prepares non-ferrous materials for transport. Both indoor and outdoor, fast-paced setting.

Monday – Friday 11 am-7 pm

Must be able to sort, process, grade non-ferrous materials
8 R9 }) |) p$ Y3 K1 x6 uInspects material for hazardous waste and grades different types of non-ferrous materials
. B3 {2 Q: W7 yLoads and unloads non-ferrous material. S. ]7 [$ u3 y3 d S! g+ o, u; J
Must be able to work safely at all times
4 E& Y% j1 W3 Q b' mBe able to effectively perform tasks independently
- }5 C! o' E3 B' w! T% t" FPerforms routine housekeeping." N3 F3 N' x# p2 M
Observes and reports any safety issues* G; m z: S* d" n& a; }

Knowledge of non-ferrous processing
& B8 t2 X( c8 m2 l2 {5 \, i: LHigh school diploma (Or GED)
6 w$ ~9 l& e4 T& ^! S7 qWell-articulated and assertive& P) G1 f2 f& C, W9 F) V
Ability to effectively communicate and present information in one-on-one and small group situations to supervisors, maintenance personnel and other employees of the organization
! ?& u4 R# P7 K( r& ?; ]8 L# ~& ?Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos
