JOB SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Senior Operations Manager-
+ o3 ^+ x5 {- E/ ]SU Print Centre and Operations Manager-Production & Technical
2 s5 u# ]' c3 bSupport, these positions are responsible for assisting in all aspects % `. s3 ~, ?6 S/ ~+ h
of Course Pack production.. Q* h5 I/ K, ? [" B
Y' a' y/ J! `; b5 r% yDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
) I4 X/ s/ e- l' c9 O; O3 k* W1) To assist in the creation of course packs, including the scanning E* c; x* W2 i% ^) f( V' U
of paper files, editing of digital files, proofing and printing.5 v1 h. p6 c7 F: y" D& _
9 n# R @- H) G M" R3 r! N6 _# Y) ?
2) To develop a good working knowledge of print equipment, including / f6 l3 `+ `& J
print queue, paper loading, toner and technical troubleshooting.
* E# Q+ F& U1 F7 w4 T
4 R! ]" h" Q$ {3) To assist with all aspects of bindery, packing and shipping of
' |5 i( M5 ^& x W$ s7 O3 x6 I* p# Ncourse packs. This includes following operational procedures and / f* L+ p: s5 R' J$ [' u
keeping appropriate and accurate records.$ L% C( n: [7 Y: y8 e& F( U
/ x! B8 U; X, G( \4) To communicate stock needs and printing and bindery equipment % _0 H; L3 s" ]; |
failures to the Operations Manager.

1) Minimum Alberta Grade XII or equivalent., Z' B; l: T5 V5 p/ \) }9 ]
2) Attention to details. Excellent organizational and communication % ^ p9 U% v/ K5 h
skills.) W8 P, b: Z' {2 F/ N- j- y0 w
- d" z6 K3 W7 Q9 S7 h6 a% C3) A good working knowledge of Windows would be helpful.1 x# ~) L; U4 m: V
& v" H' o! U/ }- `8 c& ?# ?4) An aptitude for technical problem determination and resolution.

5) Ability to work in high stress environment., h& f& ]6 d$ _ p& O( m+ y
