VANCOUVER/CKNW980 - The city of Richmond has announced that it's been chosen as the home for the new Microsoft Canada development centre.2 T( Z0 [; f; b) I4 x
Microsoft announced earlier this month it had plans to locate in Greater Vancouver.0 u0 K5 l+ m8 `+ |3 ~7 V

The company has now reached an agreement to lease about 80-thousand square feet in two buildings located in the Crestwood Corporate Centre. $ O! H+ c0 ?& f' a9 }" m: U# m3 F5 f3 M* w
The city says its staff will now focus on working with Microsoft to ensure the new facility is in operation as soon as possible.2 I' x: z* v7 d1 y) v8 [( f
