( `# y: C; E3 YJOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

7 u  p, X( d% `9 l  o/ ?( G- T DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ Z3 x- X/ e/ t3 N- W* C* @1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

1 M0 k% T5 w4 X& G2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.

3 G! @% l+ E4 v0 g0 C/ k4 @3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

1 T1 l7 b$ m9 K, G4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

5) Serve as cashier when required.

  F: T7 }+ I/ K. z6 D$ n6) To perform other related duties as directed by the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant.

QUALIFICATIONS:
# R  j, r  A+ v& h% K! M1 {
: V- Y. W: j' Q: M( T2 d2 S1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.
. O9 T: ?5 E3 C$ @
2) Cashier experience.

9 r/ M8 ^9 i$ l6 B& v6 @3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
