JOB SUMMARY:  The Food Service Worker II responsible to the Senior Operations Manager-Food Services and Operating Assistant and will assist in all areas for maximum service to patrons.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

+ ?$ Z$ Z% ?& u; q4 `1)  Assist with all aspects of food preparation, display food in an attractive & appetizing manner, and clean in the kitchen area.

2)  Provide excellent customer service to student, staff and public clients, in a professional and friendly manner at all times.
# J* s- B' B$ U5 X0 m8 N- a
3)  Follow proper food handling and storage techniques as per Capital Health standards.

4)  Capable and willing to work in all areas and able to work rotating shifts within the  Students´ Union Food Services operating hours.

8 m1 X4 F. x7 V) F5 E7 Y- G9 S5) Serve as cashier when required.

( o4 L, V( h4 I4 X( G1) Minimum one year in the food industry.  Thorough knowledge of safe food handling and storage techniques.

2) Cashier experience.
$ X$ f6 t+ r5 O7 `, O
+ K6 k& @* k6 O. U# d1 `7 L4 A9 G3) Excellent work habits, appearance and personal hygiene.

4) Excellent customer service skills and staff relations abilities.

* b2 ~# g- F9 i3 X& @4 p  F5) Completion of Grade XII (Alberta) or equivalent.
