• monitor progress of agency service providers and coordinators4 y$ W3 F/ X' c: G6 B

• meet with staff on regular basis

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities3 ^* h1 y7 b& S
• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders1 W) X) d7 {$ D7 }! R7 z! N/ s; r; D
• set program priorities and directions & g' S8 L" l' M: l
• identify community and user needs and trends0 O6 e% J3 B& S) c9 s. q* L
• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities3 m/ x8 o7 [$ b' | ^, d
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders

• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups" N" {% J5 Z6 E5 I/ A8 [
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
5 B! ]$ t0 U. q8 z1 z- x! v; \5 S• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.5 y! h8 }4 }) K+ ?, N' z6 C! Z; A
• Identify funding opportunities and resources that enhance the agency programs/services and staff& [; B2 P5 q/ P4 K$ T! R& O

- University degree in a related field;
% K$ k. F1 l: H, J# W- g- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;
) h3 [; G+ T0 c4 `* W. i- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
( X. A% f4 b$ W: v( U. h- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
