• is fiscally accountable to the Board with all projects and administration of the agency within an approved budget by the Board

• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities0 Y# p$ u) h7 ?) C* E6 b# O
• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders T& G5 J7 N( y# K7 H) X
• set program priorities and directions

& v7 Q s" s% l6 \$ ]5 t• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends+ N( y, A% b% J

• delivery of program or activity to participants as required

• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders
J3 {& u" G, M. i! l% D, p. {. i• communicate the value of the organization to the public
" X" L' P$ z6 ~• identify community needs and trends0 B% D* h$ m/ H$ N
• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups
y$ w7 u! h x. B( a6 @! e• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups
1 S* P2 K, B$ k# w- m" `• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

0 p% @3 ~, t0 g' D* J: X- University degree in a related field;
9 |% `+ C" H; |4 }! l0 ~- l- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;, x2 w; {! E [) Y
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
' i Q% t S+ ~( z/ m# h- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization ; \" f" J- ~9 [5 t' k7 I, P1 {7 n
- z. M: i* ]7 ~5 c) E/ DSalary# k/ i. u1 u$ [$ h3 N
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits ) Y/ ?; D# F3 |6 V; B2 m4 ]% f. i
