• design, develop and monitor client-centred programs and activities
% [2 \' l2 `7 ^4 y- O) e• prepare, complete and submit all program proposals including budgets and reports to the funders and key stakeholders

• identify community and user needs and trends
; @# [( e8 V; s& B& s• implement and monitor programs and community activities to meet identified needs and trends

• maintenance of appropriate reporting

• act as community liaison and cultural broker between the immigrant community and other communities: A" o: W% C$ n: ]5 i
• build, maintain strong relationships with all levels of governments, businesses, community groups, public & funders G K" l& m) v$ ^& `5 n
• communicate the value of the organization to the public. n0 s. O8 ~, m# }; W9 w
• identify community needs and trends
) y; A* M) |3 g# v" C• coordinate and monitor significant programs through liaison/partnership with other community groups3 V; ^" l4 u( K# f% |- d! n) E
• advocate, educate, promote cross-cultural respect & understanding of immigrants, visible minorities & other at risk or multi-risks groups' H7 {3 H+ W6 d# Z0 m- U% k
• work with community and social agencies/groups to raise awareness of systemic issues affecting people from a broad socio-economic spectrum to social policy makers and to lobby for social changes in society, legislation and systems.

Qualifications* c% K, c @, y, q! [
- University degree in a related field;
* i& A/ P9 o" r& ]' {$ { G/ Q- Knowledge of leadership and management principles as relate to nonprofit / voluntary organization;, y) o3 D- R1 ?* r
- Knowledge of human resources management, financial management, project management, fund development and organizational management;
: V; D3 u2 S# h: D1 P5 {9 s: S- 2 or more years of progressive management experience in a voluntary sector organization
9 `4 Z3 m2 R2 T$ ~' g! B# g
( K; u: x/ }. ^$ [6 T( nSalary! T1 z. d0 b; c+ x* s
- $50,000 - $55,000 + benefits % U8 e8 y- [. a# z$ X; \
