Community Services requires individuals to provide quality customer service to the public at community leisure centres across the City. As a Recreation Facility Attendant you will:1 A. A& q. w$ j; R* P

Collect fee and admission charges.

Complete daily cash deposits.

Perform basic administrative duties including word processing, data entry and generating inventory reports.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:$ q/ T, t) D- _0 P# ]% U4 W4 t7 R

Completion of the twelfth (12th) school grade with emphasis on general office practice or completion of an appropriate certificate program from an approved school/college.

Some experience in customer service, cash handling, and computer applications./ p; D. m; \. m" Y

Possession of current Standard First Aid and CPR certification is required prior to commencement of employment.

Assets: Customer service training and familiarity with a variety of computer software programs, including point of sale, registration software and other facility related computerized equipment. In addition, knowledge and experience in the fitness industry.6 n' a9 W6 }: g; O5 E0 E
Note: A security clearance is a condition of employment. The successful candidate will be required to obtain a Security Clearance letter from the Edmonton Police Department. ! E- q/ N$ e8 [7 K# P% [- v0 v

" e5 r# D1 E  X( P, X. ^6 @/ `- L+ H5 BUp to 30 hours per week, Sunday to Saturday. Early morning, evening and weekends may be required.6 P. w  b) _# Q
Shifts vary based on facility operating hours,
5:00 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.

# E) @8 {8 h# a5 d4 o. F& t21B, Salary Grade: 003, $14.55 - $17.97 (Hourly). The rates quoted are in accordance with a collective agreement between the Union and the City of Edmonton.; ?1 S5 B5 m( u) K+ x5 a- y
