烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:" w c$ M. q) C$ M
• 1/2 cup butter , Y A" f4 d2 i( l6 n/ _
• 1 cup sugar
7 Q1 A- H/ h% G+ {• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)
6 N/ Y7 E" ~ P( s: b _: O• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
" |% z6 Y, q. X, c- P8 \" `# {• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder

PREPARATION:
. o& C2 u( K( X4 W3 t+ W; ~Beat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition. $ `3 z4 j4 l) ~5 Z
Turn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. ' h9 l, R; j; ~3 A
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

; `& h: C3 x: j, H0 ~$ b这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
$ v" M6 i5 ]& e! r' Ebeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
