烤蛋糕
INGREDIENTS:

9 v7 Z4 r0 h9 K3 h& U+ U9 q$ w• 1 cup sugar
9 y, N( f m0 } n1 v7 X• 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract (if you like the flavor, otherwise, none)/ V, n2 G' v0 y
• 1 1/2 cups sifted flour or all purpose flour (former is better)
+ r, L0 P* X0 `/ J, ~• 1 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
$ S5 Z" k8 R# |% K5 [( x; A• 4 eggs, well beaten

PREPARATION:
b. x5 Y; ~" h |4 |. DBeat butter; gradually add sugar, beating until light and fluffy. Beat in vanilla. Sift together the dry ingredients; add to cream mixture alternately with beaten eggs, beating well after each addition.
! H5 `0 B& @! o; P$ y/ o: rTurn into greased and floured 8-inch tube pan or 9 x 5 x 3-inch loaf pan. 3 J$ x5 Y S- s
Bake in a preheated 350° oven for 45 to 50 minutes. Cool for 5 minutes in the pan then turn out onto a cake rack. Cool and glaze or frost as desired. Store tightly covered.

" p& k- i$ z' W/ p这是yellow cake,我最喜欢的,又简单。ingredients 我一般比较严格执行,否则变味,但是我通常要把糖的用量减至3/4到2/3,洋人用糖量太大,太甜了。但如果你认为cake mix的甜度适合你的口味,就用上述的量。
& |& ^" W8 @1 F& }! E' K( Ebeating,要用mixer, 一般的$10左右的hand mixer 就可以。烤蛋糕,面包,或做土豆泥等都用得上。
