ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the

Qualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
1 D) R1 w1 }; O& y/ M; f8 \0 Eobtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
8 f, p1 |( ^# D, o) Orelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification7 A: D' V1 c4 @9 u5 A
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is- o4 R# }; G) ]
required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
4 j. A1 ~+ l* f- p9 z8 w0 lcloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
, G5 I+ g: r- L" kover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification8 Q8 _# S% ^5 e5 V
is a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
' {/ r t0 Q4 ]4 Xthe ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping! Q) A- f, U7 m
accurate and complete research records. + \2 v P9 ]) O$ o% T1 u2 b

funding, such as the Alberta Ingenuity Fund R&D Associate. Anticipated8 Y8 K. o9 H( o: H; p
salary for the successful candidate will be 55-60K/yr depending on
