ATGCell Inc., a spin-off biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) of the
University of Alberta, is focusing on the production and service of
recombinant proteins and stable cell lines. To further develop our

strong track record in molecular and/or cellular biology and willingness

3 ^. B9 i+ l# ?6 j3 QQualified candidates should have a PhD or MS degree within 5 years or will
1 c( I# t1 {2 [) I' |obtain one within 2-3 months, in Biology, Biochemistry, Chemistry or a
+ b0 ?, t+ [8 r% q$ erelated field. Extensive experience in protein expression and purification
from bacterial or eukaryotic sources, and/or in mammalian cell culture, is
) O+ z7 q$ t  ~required. Familiarity with recombinant DNA techniques, including PCR, DNA
cloning and mutagenesis is also required. Prior experience in protein
! ~% A5 V4 y2 Kover-expression in insect cells/yeast, or large-scale protein purification
& {5 R+ ?3 ~+ }5 A& B! |8 q3 mis a good plus. The position requires excellent organizational skills with
the ability to work independently and multi-tasked along with keeping
0 h% ]. Q- f5 e& z: Yaccurate and complete research records.

This position is conditional to a successful application of external
