Biotech Technologist Position Available

Position Overview: Under minimal supervision, work as a technologist in a startup biotech company (http://www.atgcell.com) in Edmonton. Responsible for the execution of experiments in a laboratory using well-established techniques. Other duties include routine lab maintenance and assist with ordering.

Extensive experience in mammalian cell culture is required, in particular high-throughput or large-scale environment.
( _8 X& Q3 G1 _6 W# o2 N3 r
Practical knowledge of common molecular biology techniques is desirable, particularly in PCR, plasmid construction, DNA sequence analysis and western blotting.

' z9 r  g. E  ~Have good record keeping habits and abilities, suitable to maintain accurate and complete records.

9 n  A/ n, g+ G6 ]1 aAbility to precisely follow written and verbal directions.

Previous industrial working experience is a great asset.

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor or Master degree in cell biology, biochemistry or other related areas.
