I really don't know and never thought it can be directly translated but I suddenly thought of some words that I never used, when I was driving on my long commute this morning:$ d+ X1 F* y5 w' _

* e* R4 v r6 n! O3 K7 t1 ycliché really means overused, predictable, 陈词滥调, 了无新意. for example, in chinese shows, to imply that a woman is pregnant , she will always suddenly rush into the washroom and start to vomit, that's a cliche scene. so cliche!

so far I think "cheesy" is really THE word, as per the slang dic. |
