Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individuals to fill the following two positions:& _2 r9 `% M# f0 y( o8 k5 G

Job Description
}& E8 U0 }9 u! o a- promote ISP and other programs and services to community organizations, businesses, educational institutions, etc. by in-person presentations, phone or sending relevant information
% | C+ v. M9 q9 M% \9 a- contact with various media: i.e. newspaper, radio, website and newsletter etc.# b. r' {3 O1 b# s3 F
- update and develop brochures, pamphlets, information packages and newsletter etc.
; [/ B$ w. k1 U% O" p- promote, organize and coordinate activities for Newcomers Club as well as recruit and maintain new members for the Club. # c* ~+ P5 b- p" @( k
- ISP report writing, data collection, evaluations conduct and budget management.
0 n6 |, Q0 @4 T( }- n- assist with volunteer recruitment and other business and services as needed and assigned.( `& m% t9 Y% F* q

Qualifications:0 X$ [$ |! n; w+ O: W
- post-secondary degree/diploma in social work/human services and eligibility to be registered to area of discipline$ S" G, z' n& r5 } P6 s
- relevant experience with community work. F" Z& }6 t+ P. U
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

/ B- E7 c" L) u' q4 |Position Title: Receptionist/Immigration Services Worker (Full time: 35 hours per week)

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly., I1 k4 u( ~; t4 A; X& I
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
/ m9 x! `0 @# ?- report to the program manager and provide clerical support to all members of the ISP team

5 Z0 r, l, Q% R: y( d- post secondary diploma
' {) ]2 c1 x6 u. a- customer service and office clerical experiences& P$ X! Z6 z+ I; m: q3 ?$ N
