EDBA (Edmonton District Badminton Association,就是我们加入的那个协会)在2月23日星期六举行一个裁判的培训。

时间:上午9点至12点理论培训,下午1点至4点实习。7 \$ T0 ]( z5 r7 Z8 f; a: C

This is a clinic conducted by Badminton Alberta to train people as badminton officials. People who play badminton at a recreational, club, or higher level are ideal candidates for
6 q- D8 d! n/ t# A# K2 T$ E' abecoming badminton officials. The clinic consists of two parts. The first part consists of classroom training. This is followed by on-court practice during which trainees will have a chance to put their classroom learning to on-court practice. Trainees will also observe how certified badminton officials officiate matches and learn from them.+ R. s" E; r8 S+ q" s% j
# j/ o+ r1 q$ o/ _5 e, DTrainees who completed the theory and on-court practice at the training clinic can decide when they are ready to attempt a closed book exam conducted by the Badminton Officials
' L! ~, O1 q7 O0 A+ Bof Alberta Association. Upon passing the exam, the trainee is eligible to be certified as a badminton official at the regional level and will be given opportunities to work with different! ~1 g. {6 B0 p3 B5 T2 S8 l
certified badminton officials to practice their officiating skills over a period of time at different badminton events.
