- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
! U! A0 k: L+ N$ i. O& D- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker8 T: D* Z) k0 f8 y5 S0 R
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
2 R: H+ }4 R: }/ y& v) Q7 G4 Y- post secondary diploma
- G* [3 w/ W/ R. x$ G( S- customer service and office clerical experiences
2 O0 \$ e3 ^' Q9 D9 X7 U9 |4 i- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset7 E7 l+ b( K) l/ t( [4 {/ t. D& k

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community+ X) m1 J9 L$ w0 T1 a- D$ E
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
9 }: D5 {, q8 z1 r& B8 I- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
" ~2 t6 k" V8 N& P/ y+ W; g- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
: B- P; ~" f! N2 J) j, v2 Q- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members! x1 m9 e/ P9 J
- update ASSIST website6 H$ A, m* O s8 v9 l C6 ~& A
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre0 f G1 ~7 T3 m+ y2 ]5 d
- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services# X; u5 }! B; R+ N n( p
- assist in writing proposal for ISP+ `% }0 A* l6 ?9 v$ z
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP( O& I' `+ D4 Y9 x( g8 D
- hold regular meetings with ISP team( [8 I- q* X, r7 r/ O. a
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required); }: T4 G: d2 A( Q% p5 s' ]

Qualifications
8 V7 Y1 i1 b3 {4 b7 y- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
+ c9 Z2 v7 M: ?% ?3 i" ]2 a4 D- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
: e! H- s2 `: q- O9 R' [- experience in community work and immigrant services! ~" h l% E2 x& w4 `
