- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly." d3 ^$ L. {7 L" Z/ c
- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker
% ?, v) @& g4 h" W, J- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:
1 _" o& u9 l: f; p" I+ P9 r# u- post secondary diploma
8 d$ a3 o0 d/ Z( _+ S. Y Q0 p- customer service and office clerical experiences
& n% x' P a: d- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community5 w8 f8 J$ a- {/ c5 K, S
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services0 K* y& M' ?0 l3 l
- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services& H0 T3 \+ y) X' U) s
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
+ q+ j: T9 u+ Z! Q N0 F \8 _- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members: G; Y9 s$ y0 f$ g2 Z0 U" w' @6 _
- update ASSIST website5 c2 Y& L6 z$ l- }! u$ k4 L
- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
1 X' L' Q2 y+ u( M( `- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services, h1 T( ?( y5 K5 o$ t0 M* v
- assist in writing proposal for ISP* n0 D5 B! v: M& W, Y( W# n6 ^
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP

- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time! x B) N# U1 f0 T

- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)' Y0 W5 v: Q9 z R

Qualifications
& w* v9 E% q4 v( \- o6 N; I" B% w- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
( D3 b+ W/ c6 r( r- good oral and written Chinese and English skills2 M# J2 V5 Y) o0 p8 {
- experience in community work and immigrant services) D( P8 q# O3 O$ C
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
