Immigrant Settlement Program (ISP) at ASSIST Community Services Centre is currently seeking flexible individual to fill the following two positions:

- answer multi-line phone calls professionally, politely and directing the calls correctly.
6 R) G& m0 K6 D1 M L Y' J3 J- assist with providing counter services and act as relieve to the other Immigrant Services Worker' }1 d5 L1 q! k# N2 a1 w1 B
- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team

Qualifications:" Y4 A" |( w1 q* x2 t+ a
- post secondary diploma
+ ?$ K% V$ M& ~3 e0 M% H0 h, Z; w8 s- customer service and office clerical experiences
& w+ A: Z7 x8 l5 m6 F; t- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset

- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community3 w8 w% t$ W5 Z, s' M
- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
' [" o0 N( k* h7 `& }" I- V- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services. v8 ~2 U- F% ], x! F$ P7 R; i- i
- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
4 l K- m0 d6 k- F9 A x- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members
8 y8 [2 f$ B6 s( y9 c3 Y$ J- update ASSIST website
: |) b) E7 `" o- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
8 k! ^& U) T( ]- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services
! Z- u- u/ F& m+ T3 K- assist in writing proposal for ISP
, H) k1 P$ r [- write quarterly and final reports for ISP
7 Y# k# |8 o" E$ O4 ^$ X3 k- hold regular meetings with ISP team" d0 @# P& }1 M+ M$ |- ]1 l% |
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time

2 _* K6 K3 k( y1 \8 y- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

Qualifications
6 ~2 {( @5 L+ E" O- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
% j5 z- X; Q5 `; @3 [- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
8 n- c( ^+ A+ ]: u' P2 ]; s- experience in community work and immigrant services
/ s: {7 c# P7 H$ [- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
