- reports to the program manager and provides clerical support to all members of the ISP team+ I9 S- I6 w& U+ c

Qualifications:
0 A# w/ P) f' x" s- post secondary diploma
( x0 r% n3 g( F% `3 h- customer service and office clerical experiences

Job Description
/ F7 P; \- Q B3 K3 c }, m" q- community development, liaison with mainstream agencies to provide services for Chinese community
8 a2 Y: r7 o) `1 x, z5 _1 D- workshops, seminars, activities that give Chinese population access to mainstream services
! I j% O( k. n% Y2 ~" j, w- fulfill needs that are not met in Chinese community in terms of social services
9 m0 T4 b0 [/ X- develop good working relationships with mainstream and ethnic agencies
, U# v2 f: }7 n9 e- coordinate good will activities and send out quarterly newsletter to members: d( B3 b# W, p* ~
- update ASSIST website
. Q! [3 B& I# T- demonstrate team spirit in achieving vision and objectives of Centre
5 B& J+ L) Y! k0 g( W- participate in external committees/conferences/workshops related to immigrant services* }5 q, f H7 C9 _' _- c! s0 `
- assist in writing proposal for ISP" P7 h: a! d/ r9 A% ]
- write quarterly and final reports for ISP3 `4 f- Y/ r) n
- hold regular meetings with ISP team+ K* q0 O4 K& j; @5 a1 T/ ~
- assist with Centre’s other activities or programs as prescribed from time to time+ D2 e" o! e0 r; x' ~% h8 K+ A* s
- update membership database( k% P' }9 M n [% D+ N/ q8 Q7 w4 h! z
- work flexible hours (including evenings, weekends as required)

: } j+ G+ p) e& K0 T4 D- degree/diploma in social/human sciences with 1 year of relevant experience or equivalent of experience and education
0 u( _: K) _& i) z9 {- good oral and written Chinese and English skills
v9 N9 F. F. h7 P0 ]; S- experience in community work and immigrant services+ X; `4 N4 `( d; f" q5 y) }
- Fluent in English, Chinese (Mandarin or Cantonese) is an asset
