Duties
1 Q) `1 b8 B1 L% S- qWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele' Q8 d* t" [6 m1 D* E% f. K
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management3 ] A# S' x9 p, k
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers1 b$ O6 h$ |- a H9 k
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support/ w1 a! a& O+ @1 |4 M" [; \: C
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff' P6 u$ O6 V7 Y `
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
% D6 D2 o# b, T" l$ g bDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP* e5 n5 r+ n5 n+ d* ^
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
' {; \, D) d* B5 GRecent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer- t" s% ]0 V6 y1 y6 t7 A \( K8 X
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
& T# N+ Z8 Z% {" j8 ~8 _Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)* z+ ^" {) p1 z" s o
