Duties
5 M: {( W2 `' k8 Q7 n# I3 n- cWorks within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
& n/ }5 B; M3 M) t- \Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
& I4 k4 N) \! T+ J2 u& C3 zResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
! {. N$ o7 T' P, kWorks within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
Edits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
  N8 ~! P7 ?9 p+ KDevelops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

$ b- L8 @* Z5 u9 u; @. F; XTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
Minimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
7 }* P7 F! x, F9 m9 \" L: s& E; U. WExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
" M1 e+ a% K9 cStrong analytical, diagnostic, written and oral communication skills
& m( j# r/ H+ Y2 k/ MAbility to work independently and in a team environment and under pressure
