Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele& c+ D/ n& L9 A7 j2 h
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
9 f5 X8 U k9 rResponsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers4 H5 J% j, _: J& @; y5 C' y! e
Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support9 ?! x" c: L9 W% v
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
h; v- S( m: J" m) J7 lEdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System3 C+ t% l! _- |* z5 O" E% n7 Y# v
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP" x( j4 C* W4 Y4 n. E" i, N
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS- r8 X( ]- L) I2 R' a) A
Designs, develops and implements MySQL relational databases

5 j3 i0 [- u V, K/ O- oTwo year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
8 a, Y: ~) s; n& `Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
# I) _+ K4 |. f7 _6 AMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
/ l' x# F# g$ i. d3 u; FExperience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)+ K, A8 u" T0 B" h( _
