Duties
Works within the Network Team to plan, implement, and maintain network services for the University Libraries, supporting the computing requirements of approximately 300 library staff and a wide range of electronic services offered to library clientele
Responsible for specialization in workstation image management
Responsible for system administration of assigned Windows 2000 servers
/ Z. U- m$ Z- d: m& s" \Provides help desk and on-call (after hours) support
Works within the Web Team to implement and support web-based applications to provide access to library resources and services and web-based productivity applications for staff
8 x; I+ m% M/ o' p' c+ o, W# Q8 j1 REdits and troubleshoots web content using Content Management System
Develops programming using Cold Fusion and PHP
Develops user interfaces using HTML, JavaScript and CSS

Two year post-secondary diploma in a technology support program
Recent completion of Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer
/ t7 R& U8 p2 y, U* z5 dMinimum three years experience working in a technology support group for a large corporate network with hands-on experience managing Windows 2000 servers and client workstations
Experience implementing and supporting interactive web-based applications using web programming languages and middleware applications (including Cold Fusion, PHP, HTML, JavaScript, CSS and MySQL)
