when someone tells me sth. sad or bad, i want to say sth, but the funny mistake I made is : sorry about that. 3 c( `2 i* i/ J, J1 ^9 ]: e/ r- A 8 J3 `7 N" s' Q4 K6 x& N, wI thought it means I'm sorry to hear that, but the respones is : it's not your fault, + m# U$ n' f$ b% G$ `2 l# [# u* ^0 f$ s d, F8 m% `8 l

不对呀,楼上的,当我说"sorry about that",人家的回答是:it's not your fault. * L- N4 R/ y; i& E+ W. b! z' a% u- ^" X
很显然:sorry about that 的意思绝非:听到这消息很遗憾或很抱歉,而且"很对不起",因此人家会说:这不是你的错. 6 _& a9 g$ s X4 @$ e$ E' b) y* x% P; D& q0 U7 ?
这也就是我发贴的问题.
"I am sorry" or "Sorry about that" is the simplified usage of "I am sorry to hear that". Although the respones is " It's not your fault," IT IS NOT YOUR FAULT!
