Position: Youth Services Coordinator
Full Time Position: (35 hours per week)

o        Accountable for Towards  A New Generation (T.A.N.G.) youth program
$ w6 s. }3 g7 _/ F5 Ao        Writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth program
o        Supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
5 j9 F4 X4 _  ?' U8 P; k: Po        Coordinate, develop, and manage a summer youth program
3 R2 X1 z9 C8 x6 ^% d1 p/ c- t! k! ^# Wo        Liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
/ o+ J1 B+ o# _' M, N. io        Train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
/ f0 ?/ j7 a( m3 r2 F% \" C9 b* eo        Accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
o        Demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
  X) f8 C* o( \# f/ oo        Participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
o        Be open and willing to explore new ideas
; T, a0 p  \3 I2 t/ P7 Z* Q( Bo        Work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
o        Be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor
; V/ a9 M5 c8 S, Y* O$ E
( \( s, v* j+ w3 l0 q. @Qualifications
1 N6 F' z0 a! X% J! E! p& Bo        Degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
7 {7 ^& M  H- Q6 ?$ Xo        Good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
! X' N: Z" ^# `, c, y! W5 `/ z' ~o        Experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
8 T6 a: h0 q  k# ]3 Ro        Leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
o        Willingness to learn
