I do not think Firefox is faster than IE. There are more viruses to IE just because it's more popular and Firefox is pretty new. If FireFox occupies 80% of the market, who knows what will happen. It's nothing about ActiveX technology. There is nothing that is bulletproof. 8 }) z1 J T9 @; r& { j# W0 i- l& F
So just choose based on your own needs.
For whatever reason, Firefox should be safer, I am not saying faster though. But spyware/adware can make your computor very slow. Check you folder: 0 k8 U: f6 M( G; _7 m/ H0 d. [ ( C) x" _9 P: v- ^, s8 X/ F; ^) hDocuments and Setting\(your user name)\cookie or folder system32 to see what kind of adware\sypware already in your system 0 H1 n+ S8 W- n+ H+ Q9 I6 N" {& x- J; l5 G" O6 j. w

I am using Mozilla in my Linux and IE in my XP. Besides the muti-tab feature, they are almost the same.

不管什么原因，只要安全就好。。。你说得对，用得多的软件，漏洞多。但是，如果Ｆｉｒｅｆｏｘ相对安全（或者说黑客琢磨得少），何尝不是它的一个长处？
