Abstract: position is responsible for providing employment assessment and counseling services & casual/temporary job placement referrals to participants. Successful candidates must provide a criminal record and child welfare check.

Skills & Qualifications: agreement with Bissell Centre's mission, goals/values; ability to manage time effectively & organize tasks in a flexible way; familiarity with the culture of Edmonton's urban core neighborhoods; understanding of Aboriginal Culture and experience working with individuals in conflict with the law; experience in providing employment services to participants with multiple barriers; knowledge of Alberta's labor market and ability to market Casual Labour service to potential employers.

0 q+ a) F1 s& {8 G& W& ]$ ^; `PLUS: creativity & problem solving skills; some post secondary education in a human services field with a background in employment counseling is an asset; Alberta Class 5 driver's license + satisfactory driver's abstract an asset; good working knowledge of MS Word/Excel; must be able to work early morning shift (6:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m.); equivalent or alternative skills will be considered.
