0 a: L1 f' J9 W8 o6 U  @Major Responsibilities:
0 O& ]( r, i+ Z7 L6 r  X7 [•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.( o" c1 _! r) w. e) w( {; X
•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
. C+ K( w& H. T/ P2 d1 [" ]4 a8 C•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  4 O8 w' W. [9 c' V7 R5 A
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
% S0 H: h, ^) f" v, ^& {•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.# \5 w- a6 M9 S7 {( c/ T
•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.1 l2 o9 T( N" a3 Q
•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.3 B8 j4 B5 W9 m3 M( S7 r
•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive." @, R" W6 l) m/ Z( E- F+ i
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
# `, V# @% s+ H! @6 ?7 t•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.  _$ G/ H" N0 U2 t5 q- t# l: V
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
4 D2 Q' O* L8 n- k6 m4 j0 n) i•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.
' o6 B5 W# d. R5 G. M+ y•        Actively participate as member of sales team.  Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.  M6 {* B/ _9 u  _9 x
•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Qualifications:1 k" q# L$ x+ X$ T1 c
•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
4 K2 \, N6 o  u6 O, u•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
6 P* ?% K8 j0 V  j) Q•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment.
, B8 u9 L+ e5 Q  b•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
3 i: L5 m+ r$ Y. l4 \0 k0 Z•        Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential' b& z5 j% v' h
•        Not scared of heights
