Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant1 v2 I& e% ?! s6 y; D4 i

Reports to: National Sales Manager. ^$ i; \7 V) J# y+ B8 B

& s. l3 h# \7 y" P1 n! U7 b9 JMajor Responsibilities:
! U8 d! e# D! S" j# g l• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
$ T2 h# Z+ B r( D( \+ {• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
K g& O5 {4 u3 j9 Z% G1 l* x• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.
' ^, _* M% o% o1 o• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
/ k5 q9 j# C$ [5 n& D7 k5 t• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
7 d4 D0 ^' V2 V( s0 k( a6 {& `• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.! k1 `2 | X; C; R
• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
' T& b: \# W- ]5 J1 M3 t) J4 _• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.5 g, @5 L# V }) ~$ x' m4 V
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ \3 J1 D' u! k- W2 i1 Q3 v. F
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes./ L% `4 g) X3 M' \
• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.

Qualifications:
9 t: m6 ?. J+ ?6 {9 N• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
) K0 ?( i8 U5 |# e4 B• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
& c* k, @8 [2 ^• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. % S n5 N) U2 O4 {
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
8 y3 V" F4 s9 T( f1 M• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential4 n$ K/ d; @4 I/ |
• Not scared of heights4 y2 @. B- s2 \' ]4 E9 G4 R$ h% f
• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other7 c$ J3 q& J8 u F: G, i/ _, V
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
