Major Responsibilities:
' A3 M% k9 W# X1 y& d, f; a•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
3 r. Q& z' [1 ~: F2 j6 g& f: p•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.# y% Y* H& n+ G7 L" H
•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  9 u$ L* I. C  F, b4 k
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.
& Y- i2 a7 J5 _) {7 K& \# r3 k$ {•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

! U  T- [6 y* c! h3 M+ B•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.

•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# h8 K* e- E1 y. U6 V; Z! r: N•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

•        Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.

•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
