Major Responsibilities: 2 X. Y$ X" y5 L/ c
•        Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes).  This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
  Z* p3 J' w: ~- D( ?9 T% P: v•        Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.
8 ^1 L) _& Q1 F6 Q& l$ o•        Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations.  This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements.  5 x5 ]7 A$ r6 O/ C) F
•        Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required.  This maybe in the field or in the office.7 x' j7 x" }/ n/ d
•        Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.
0 ~, ]" x& m( C6 m# ~$ _•        Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
  O* i* U1 W! u; t$ S7 q5 m: }•        Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
! A& u3 R6 N- m( x0 ]6 ~, o•        Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.& @* z5 W& f! ?2 O; ]
•        Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.! n5 ^* ?5 u9 w. I" Q# @0 R, l7 p
•        Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.( U( p. n, x" H: P) F* }3 f- g
•        Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc.  Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy./ _8 h$ d" \) B; S% M7 u* j! v: F
•        Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services.  Recommend changes.

•        Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset.
) s" O, S/ j: e# _& _% N' H# b+ L  N•        3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. $ h5 n6 @1 s  Q
•        Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
