8 `0 Q5 M5 ~" l6 uMajor Responsibilities:
: y0 M1 m U# o4 e) g7 n• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.9 _9 {0 i3 M6 W8 G
• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.8 y) \& ` |+ I9 Z# |3 e
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. / W. \) j V- i. t* R" ^
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.3 }, c* O6 U1 M8 |6 @. |, [
• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.6 }! B- S8 t# {) C
• Actively seek new sales channels and opportunities throughout the entire area.
: Q# h9 G; c* B8 L; L• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.
6 u' M d7 t* J& p3 m• Ensure pricing levels are within industry levels and competitive.
+ v4 O5 f% X0 p7 Y; I m• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
) G/ k7 @7 U( V: o# k# M# N; e• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.
; o$ H2 u, G3 j5 `( h5 u• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.1 o" l2 Q: o% G5 R# }0 D( a O
• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.

• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
/ I2 g6 ?, d8 p, b. B/ V1 w4 X• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. ( [" w1 q% R2 E, M% [, M0 G
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. ; L4 ~, P0 l2 ^' n2 o# _( P$ ]
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
# z( D8 X4 d l) D6 g4 w• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential
# p$ n' O& X/ z3 n• Not scared of heights
! _! p* I+ a2 j8 j* j- [• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other
# u- r2 y/ o2 Z" e2 T+ D& q1 n• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral. $ C2 i& H$ {' b0 z7 C# b
• Superior organizational aptitude, including sales process.3 f, g8 r& m) a1 D0 c6 f
• Demonstrated success in working as a team member.
