Position Title: New Equipment Sales Consultant# E% ?5 a$ R5 |+ } K
Location: Edmonton

Major Responsibilities:
' A3 M% k9 W# X1 y& d, f; a• Drive sales growth in respective geographic regions for New Equipment (industrial cranes). This includes traveling by car or plane to all customer sites and locations.
3 r. Q& z' [1 ~: F2 j6 g& f: p• Provide sales, technical, product and application solutions to customers throughout the assigned territory.# y% Y* H& n+ G7 L" H
• Perform joint or independent frequent calls to end-users to determine crane applications and installations. This includes field verifications of measurements and other field installation requirements. 9 u$ L* I. C F, b4 k
• Prepare and perform quotations and proposals as required. This maybe in the field or in the office.
& Y- i2 a7 J5 _) {7 K& \# r3 k$ {• Follow up on potential quotations, projects and update quote log on a weekly basis.

• Formulate and establish sales action plans, budgets, goals, quotas.

! U T- [6 y* c! h3 M+ B• Assist in the development of promotional programs, training, marketing materials and sales tools.
* m2 P9 K) k0 t0 Q1 A! \/ g• Participate in development of sales and marketing strategy and long range planning.# a1 }. P# P6 ` R
• Continually appraise company products, policies and procedures as opposed to competitor’s line relative to design, pricing, marketability, etc. Recommend changes as required. Recommend pricing and product strategy.
# h8 K* e- E1 y. U6 V; Z! r: N• Maintain frequent contact with the National Sales Manager and plant staff. Appraise promptness of order processing, deliveries, technical services and parts, warranty and other customer services. Recommend changes.
! D/ O/ M9 S3 d% e4 D5 f, A) d• Actively participate as member of sales team. Attend meetings and training at the office/plant as required.* O, C) l. y% F; z R
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Marketing/Business Administration or equivalent is required.
. Q1 `) h2 j2 H* h! ]2 W" C6 f• Industrial equipment and crane sales related courses/training an asset. . Q8 ]! y; W/ H% ~' q4 O
• 3-5 years’ progressive responsibility required in marketing, sales and related functions in an industrial, electrical and/or controls environment. 1 L( e3 ^$ n# m/ J X5 h+ ]
• Mechanical/electrical aptitude.
* L3 H3 j9 @& F% {$ {. `• Computer literacy, especially with Microsoft Office applications is essential( `2 L: h5 |+ V) i. c% z
• Not scared of heights
$ a# [: O" X5 Y" K. H4 F• Physically capable of climbing on cranes/ladders/manlifts/other- @+ ]1 ^$ O. u+ a r/ X" P" U8 M
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral.
