Job Description – Responsibilities
- U6 m$ B- R/ n& x8 E4 w•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
# Y. ?8 p, p+ S6 a" W( ~0 B% z8 J•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
# i7 h" W. ~& r6 a- w•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
0 l( R1 |& x3 A7 y! t+ v# k•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
: o  t/ d% r3 P•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
/ ~8 c  }( ?' B. _7 e, G•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
' G6 {9 H% x0 U9 m•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
8 F5 ^# @% q6 _" g1 p" p7 R•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
# X9 \( [; V' S( M•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
1 w3 r$ w( g9 C6 k9 B  x- C•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

0 \& n6 ]2 N3 ~" y4 rQualifications
8 R5 V2 ^' [  D3 x; G( V•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
3 i% |7 q( N  G$ }* B' y•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
. I% p- e) M, g5 N•        willingness to learn
