Job Description – Responsibilities
, ^& _" ^& i; ^; n•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
8 c- B, ~1 V# p! R•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
  D, P! J$ M7 \•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
- j, t1 m1 S& ]  X, K•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
" `( W3 j* V- X•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
7 v8 |5 O* d$ x$ Y4 ^•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
& N. S# H: i. k: h+ g•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
+ R6 b# v( N. Z•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
