Job Description
Position: Youth Services Manager
Full time position (35 hours each week)

•        accountable for T.A.N.G. (Towards A Non-Violent Generation) youth program
7 B' p: C  Z6 r( _$ l" p5 y•        writing final reports and assisting in grant proposals for future youth programs
& B' x) n, L; A•        supervising and recruiting volunteers for youth program
•        coordinate, develop and manage a summer youth program
•        liaison and working with community and community services providers to further develop youth and girls/women program
•        train in areas of management, organization and fundraising
$ L3 r7 E$ G! r& |6 i7 y' x- n•        accountable for evaluation of all activities based on logic model
•        demonstrate team spirit in achieving visions and objectives of the Centre
. k1 `0 B& o  `8 N4 N) \6 m8 C•        participate in external committees, conferences and workshops for youth related issues
•        be open and willing to explore new ideas
•        assist with other activities/programs at the Centre
) B  v$ p$ k) Z1 D•        work flexible hours, including some evenings and weekends
( B  P" N2 C# q8 o/ J•        be energetic, enthusiastic and most importantly, sense of humor

Qualifications
* Y) O- ^. V3 {3 D•        degree/diploma in Social Work, Sociology, Community Services, Human Services or any other post secondary education with related work experience
•        good oral and written English, second Asian language an asset
) `! G$ n0 G; o9 {* M/ f+ Y0 _# Y( L•        experience in community work, supervising and managing youths, volunteers, immigrant related issues, experience or knowledge of crime prevention issues an asset
•        leadership skills, well organized, able to multi-task, good social skills, exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
•        willingness to learn
