The Canadian Accreditation Council of Human Services is a non-profit company dedicated to a peer review accreditation process based on best practice standards, ensuring organizations focus on service excellence.

We are seeking a very skilled individual who is well connected to Aboriginal communities, knowledgeable about standards and accreditation processes, self motivated and able to work independently.  

Duties:
! x+ {, W% N5 t+ ~7 F# _•        Provide administrative support to Organizations preparing for accreditations and to Peer Review Teams during the process.
( C& L, W) m+ i6 e$ N3 d; ^5 N•        Develop and deliver workshops/training sessions to assist organizations to develop or strengthen their capacity to provide excellent programming.
•        Facilitate peer review, team leader training and other related workshops.
* u5 t0 e- s. }1 e1 I+ P•        Assist in the development and revision of standards, manuals, and tools used within the accreditation process.

Requirements:
•        Able to work with people from diverse background and interests towards consensus.
•        Understanding of adult learning, workshop development and group facilitation.
•        Degree in the area of human services;
•        Able to travel extensively ;
•        Able to work in a team as well as independently;
) t- x, U+ f9 f& N1 ]. t8 _•        Excellent written and oral communication skills;
) T' d2 t* {  d! q$ |, F8 q3 q•        Experience working in non-governmental agencies and the Aboriginal community;
$ |' O# k9 r$ D- d- B•        Current CYIM, Criminal Record Check, Driver’s Abstract and access to a vehicle.
