HIV Edmonton is looking for a Fund Development Coordinator. This is a "hands-on" position dealing with HIV Edmonton donors, staff and volunteers on a daily basis. The primary responsibility is to develop and implement the overall fundraising strategy for HIVE.* p+ V# o- q7 w9 I5 B( Z
3 l2 H$ y& _" O1 ~3 d6 `" yKey Responsibilities: lead in the creation of a Fund Development Department in meeting its income targets for revenue and capital through existing/new fundraising activities; develop strategies for significant growth in income to fund new programs and projects; represent HIV Edmonton externally and to build high-level support for its work.6 j0 L! d0 m! I! n8 Z
m c6 q. w$ N* Y" wPLUS: effective coordination, delivery and logistical administration of all fundraising events; secure/confirm event logistics, sponsors, prizes, supplies, and volunteers need to run fundraising events. Specific events at this time include: Scotia Bank AIDS Walk for Life and a casino in the fall.

In addition: enhance HIV Edmonton' fund development volunteer base and improve volunteer training and support processes; maintain systems and processes for monitoring income and expenditure on a monthly basis and to generate quarterly forecasts; manage the development of all high level fundraising relationships and ensures/supports the involvement of the Executive Director, where appropriate.

. a2 n/ d, U& l _) M) \PLUS: oversees the management and development of the donor dBase; ensure compliance with all Canada Customs Revenue Agency (CCRA) regulations, data protection regulatory requirements and to promote best practice in fund raising.
