W! ~, W+ X; ~3 b+ O7 M! tAs a Business Analyst, you will analyze business requirements, conduct impact analyses, and perform design, development, support and documentation activities in a dynamic and multi-application environment. Working under a Team Lead, you will help to develop a long term plan to replace our client's legacy applications. Z) { o$ @6 Y
As part of this endeavour, you will be responsible for performing the following type of activities:
: f8 s C. K, X- ]Convert business requirements into design specifications and prepare specifications for user sign-off.
: g6 P, \4 u9 O/ N; sCreate process and data models to visually represent requirements information.
; D7 P; U0 Y, q- K' HPerform system testing with internal and external clients. Provide support during various phases of testing.
- c/ }7 n9 I- a. U5 aAssist with the resolution of code deficiencies found during the assembly test and system test phase. : T: e0 K4 L% h8 [5 I% v9 O3 O
Support, maintain and upgrade application after it moves into production. . |) i# e# f& { r
Analyze current technical and business objectives, plans, processes, information flows, and systems.
2 y' X- }" \8 B1 V0 E1 |& }; WAssist in the identification, assessment and resolution of application problems and recommend modifications. ; R' L3 P! F) j
Summarize and present key findings with recommendations for improvement. 4 ?0 w$ e5 }( ]* b) T0 Z1 A5 ]/ G
Responsible for working with Project manager to set and review overall quality of deliverables. ( u" F+ V5 y: [1 X' m. E, y
Minimum of 2 years of experience in application development, experience with legacy applications would be an asset9 S$ ]& c( X! X
• A university degree in Computer Science, Commerce (MIS), or similar discipline is preferred, but an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.' H0 V7 ~# q% ?& x' ^
• Experience with Web Applications, VB.net, C# and/or .NET technologies an asset.
# Q1 o6 p, r! d- \• Understanding of Object Oriented design principles and the .Net Framework.
! H6 ]' b) [; K. @6 {7 t* v- z• Exceptional consultation skills are critical, with the ability to convey technical ideas to both technical and non-technical audiences and contribute within a team environment.3 e) v% v3 z7 v6 L' M& k! i( e' |
