A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.
This program is designed to provide participants with the skills and
/ \, r& B1 G% f5 pknowledge to help them succeed in entry-level child care positions.

• Orientation Course for Child Care Staff (Level 1)
• Standard Child Care First Aid
• WHMIS
) i' `4 I1 n, T7 D/ A7 E• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
• Components to improve communication skills
! C. s5 L7 F0 n8 j& Y, r5 e• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search
• Practicum Placements
Eligibility Criteria
4 Y5 Y1 Y; J# {• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen
of Canada
• have a Social Insurance Number
. U1 v9 P/ Z# v3 W/ f• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check
+ F! j# b5 Z0 S# u( C: M• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent
1 C# R, C# Y. X4 Y• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time
5 \, o1 l5 z  Lprogram
Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
7 w! k7 `# p7 G  O( {) b) _( Cthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:
5 z9 G, i+ z( v. t& a& e' [2 Y4 u• be unemployed or underemployed.
* z1 u4 }: s! p  b" Z3 G) @They CANNOT quit their job to take the course

Got Nicole's reply ., The fee is $4560, including everything. and many people are available for their funding. They have a finacial assistant to help you there. So fiRst either give them a call or just email Nicole. She is very nice and helpful.

our next session runs April 6 to June 26.  It is full time Monday through Thursday we start at 8:30  am until 3:30 pm.  Fridays we run 8:30 am until 12 pm.  The class location is at Nova Plaza (8914 – 118 Avenue).
