A twelve-week training program for careers in Child Care.

• WHMIS
. {0 v( H; a7 V• Practical and theoretical modules relevant to child care
# P$ {, p% Y$ \3 A" M# v• Components to improve communication skills; M9 M2 d9 ?2 b- ]
• Modules on Work Place Culture and Work Search2 M$ L6 O! Y' o/ P6 c* f
• Practicum Placements
5 L' Q) t; v$ sEligibility Criteria
0 M8 ^8 |- M1 N' s# t! v$ |- e• be a landed immigrant, convention refugee or new citizen- F2 S9 M9 j5 P$ q
of Canada
( ]# y5 C0 B5 C& c( P• have a Social Insurance Number6 [! y3 [! w( r1 ?2 \
• provide a completed criminal record check and child welfare check; W+ l1 {1 Z. V% d! i# F
• CLBA score of at least 4 or completion of LINC 4 or equivalent/ L1 v- o- d; e2 [( j; _; m5 [
• demonstrate commitment to participating in a 12 week full-time

1 V9 L9 G; c4 S$ ^Participants may be eligible for Grant Funding if they meet
6 I5 {$ o1 g6 Xthe following requirements, in addition to the one listed above:

They CANNOT quit their job to take the course
