Context: we're a non-profit, public legal education organization committed to developing effective ways of making legal knowledge accessible to a broad spectrum of the public by; providing a clearinghouse of legal/justice-related resources & services; developing and delivering innovative resources and services that enhance public access to, understanding about, and engagement in our justice system; and collaborating with others who share these goals. 7 X& c4 }. p U! + G, ~; t7 {. O$ B* z2 M/ |2 D' ZWe require an enthusiastic, details-oriented Project Assistant for the successful development and delivery of an interesting, fast-paced project. 3 e+ ~& l0 J. f; T

N# G. iDuties may include, but are not limited to: performing general office administration duties (drafting documents/reports, preparing & maintaining files, inputting-updating financial records); undertaking research; converting prepared information into various formats (e.g. interactive/static); responding to a variety of inquiries; liaising with charitable sector organizations.3 v, F$ e" h; n6 Z, j3 h" F9 j
. y) W6 G' [9 vYou possess: Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience; strong communication and organizational skills; demonstrated knowledge of office administration, basic bookkeeping procedures, and computer skills (MS Office and Adobe InDesign); ability to multitask; good attention to detail; professional demeanour.

7 Q6 z. S% T8 b8 x3 DPLUS: ability to work independently; sensitivity to deadlines; experience drafting documents/working in web-based environment essential; volunteer or work experience with nonprofit/voluntary organizations an asset; understanding charities' obligations a bonus.
