Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator

- Organize focus group(s)
/ X, n7 d+ t. e9 L+ {- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
( A  ]. F. l3 h' k4 L2 o4 v2 h. Y- Recruit children for summer program
; P- E+ d  D% d" `- Provide orientation for parents
* i* D$ U! }8 x4 ^$ y8 e- Find sponsors to enhance program
3 O& D! f0 M- |- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency
( q& W7 h4 D! S0 G% }7 d
0 @5 y3 J& t, y$ a- D8 ?Qualifications:

' ^$ q) ?2 e6 {2 t+ O; ~- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
2 W# c+ _5 J; e3 t: |. g- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
# t5 \( Y$ f- E. c8 ^, l/ G- communication skills
5 H% k% ?5 Z* [3 c- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
$ e* h' t- w* R8 a- P- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- good computer skills
- O! N2 e4 y+ o+ ~% f' M5 v, T7 e- leadership abilities
- ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Salary
