Summer Children’s Fitness Program Co-ordinator
Responsibilities:
0 X6 [8 h8 G3 o' k: L- Organize focus group(s)
* C# K1 Z) `( L$ q( X" U+ Y  r* y- Organize and facilitate summer children’s program (ages 6 to 10) with focus on physical recreation, fitness, nutrition, sports
! z" b5 Z- |. u* W4 ]5 o- Recruit children for summer program
- Provide orientation for parents
- Find sponsors to enhance program
8 X1 N- U& j# j  d; H. Q- Supervise volunteer(s)
- Prepare final report for funding agency

Qualifications:
5 {' O! `; M# F. |% w* F/ k
8 D4 |, ?6 w2 q6 ?9 y/ u- post secondary student in Social Sciences, Human Sciences, Early Childhood Development, Physical Education or equivalent of experience and education
+ L+ K: L- A* |) [$ \- good coordinating and interpersonal skills
/ j2 w" ]7 w& B% ~6 j) J- communication skills
# _) T. B! S" o& @1 t7 [$ M- must enjoy sports and other athletic activities
+ v9 C7 h% K' ]4 U' q7 J- fluency in English, other Asian languages an asset
- ~+ O! ]2 x4 l- good computer skills
- leadership abilities
% R; Q& H, }# x! O0 p- ability to work independently with minimal supervision
